Hi staff! In the future, would it be possible for an official end time to be announced for events so that people can better plan? I had (wrongly) assumed that the event would end at 23:59 server time, especially since a member of staff had announced at 00:00 server time that we would have 24 hours to take care of final business. I was one pumpkin box away from receiving the ring prior to the server check, which I would've been able to turn in if the event had indeed ended at the end of the day. Obviously, it's on me for not planning better in the first place (which was exacerbated by the fact that I didn't even come back to Royals until the event was half over lol), and that's definitely not the staff's fault. That said, I still thought I'd voice this particular piece of feedback since I imagine other people might be feeling the same way. Thanks for reading!
Exact same thing happened to me. I assumed midnight and was 1 box from getting ring :-( And yup I also saw that staff member message in the shout box. I would have gotten up at 4 am to hand it in if I knew I needed to. But I assumed I could hand it in this morning.
Yeah, it seems this was a case of the left hand not knowing what the right was doing. We should have waited until 00:00 to end the event and will try to do better at communicating more uniform information down the road. Thank you for so kindly providing your feedback! We re-enabled the event so you should be able to hand your candies in to malady. She will be disabled at 23:59 server time. Sorry for any inconveniences.
