Hi users and admins, First of all would like to say I am very excited to play on this server and relive those 'old school' Maplestory moments. I only have one little problem that wouldn't take to much effort (from my understanding) to make the download a lot faster. My main problem with how the download is handled now is that it not only takes about 6-7 hours, its also corrupts very often. My solution would be to add some mirrors to the download section with dropbox or googledocs. I hope this could get looked into and I posted this suggestion/problem in the right category. I am right now, the manager tells me its downloading with aprox 25kb per second, which is very slow. I hope it wont corrupt at least.
Our host is aware that some users are having slow download speeds. It seems to only be affecting certain users. They should be looking into it today. You could try cancelling the download and trying it again. I noticed that I was getting approx 25KB/s, but on my second try I got 1.9MB/s: I cancelled the download and tried again and got this: 3rd Try:
