Thesedays OPQ community has less and less people. It is really hard to do OPQ since getting 6 people(also need to have haste) is so hard. I haven't done OPQ without smegaing for a long time. But most of people whose lv are 51~80 don't wanna use smegas for it. So it is so hard to do OPQ for normal people. In my opinion, OPQ is really good pq since it is cooperative and it is not monotonous. Thus OPQ has a chance to be a good place to make good friends. So I think more and more people should try OPQ. But some people complain that OPQ gives less exp. So I think OPQ's exp should be buffed more. Let me compare LMPQ and OPQ. LMPQ VS OPQ normal party's LMPQ VS normal party's OPQ normal LMPQ takes 2 min 30 sec and gives 80k exp. So it's 32k exp/min. normal OPQ takes 18~20 min and gives 340k exp. So it's 18k exp/min. Even though considering OPQ's mission(32k exp),LMPQ wins. LMPQ 1 - 0 OPQ pro party's LMPQ VS pro party's OPQ Pro LMPQ takes 1 min and 40 sec, so it's about 48k exp/min Pro OPQ takes around 12 min, so it's about 28k exp/min Considering OPQ's mission, it's about 31k exp/min But doing OPQ's mission without delay is so hard, you need to have good luck to have an easy mission. Also, OPQ's mission often doesn't appear. So it's nearly impossible to get 31k exp/min. Anyway, pro party's OPQ is worse than normal party's LMPQ even though it's so hard to recruit people who can do 12 min run. LMPQ wins. LMPQ 2 - 0 OPQ LMPQ's reward VS OPQ's reward LMPQ gives you red cider and OVA int 10%. And a lot of potions. OPQ gives you red cider, yellow cider and Cape for int 60%. But OPQ's cape for int 60% scroll is really really rare. Most of people don't even know it's obtainable. I've done OPQ uncountable times but I got the scroll only once or twice. Conversely, LMPQ's OVA int 10% is relatively easy to get. And you can have potions which you will need later. LMPQ wins LMPQ 3 - 0 OPQ So... LMPQ is much better than OPQ in terms of rewards and exp. This is not fair, I think OPQ should have more exp buff at least. OPQ's last exp was 400k before, since EXP rate got changed from 4X to 3.2X, it should be 320k in my opinion. if it got changed to 320k, total exp will be 510k/run. So normal party's OPQ's exp will be 27k exp/min, pro party's OPQ's exp will be 42k exp/min. LMPQ is still better. So it's okay if OPQ's exp got more and more buff in my opinion. Anyway, what I want to say is that LMPQ is too better compared with OPQ for now. So OPQ needs more buff or OPQ community will decline
Same here, I'm too into OPQ and really want to do it but it's hard to form a party of 6 there. Hopefully OPQ will get buffed soon.
OPQ is more challenging, longer and way more varied, it would only make sense for it to be more rewarding. LMPQ is brain dead compared to OPQ. please buff it to at least the same level of LMPQ.
I believe the overall lack of diversity in party play (excluding bossing) is a major aspect that Royals could improve on. The lack of multiple pqs (Carnival PQ, Romeo & Juliet, Pirate PQ) and party grinding (lionheart castle) attributes to this, but OPQs futile exp further exacerbates the problem. However, the guy coding the server can only do so much at a time, so all us OPQ lovers can do is to be patient and hope for the best
While I fully agree with the suggestion you repeated yourself so much I started to get a headache. +1
I'm +1 on this. I never really got to experience OPQ on this server since doing rush stage 1-3 LPQ then doing LMPQ right after was the norm, if you didnt go & self/buy leech. It'd be good to see OPQ as another great or maybe even better alternative!
Both pq requires party members to kill and participate in order to make it fast, but for those who washes hp/mp, it is impossible to make it fast. Ludi pq 35-50 allows members above 50 to join, this helps alot, but its so hard to do pq from 51-70.. im in a hard time too. I would like to buff OPQ too, its more fun and joy in it. but please allow members above lv70 to join
OPQ encourages cooperation, and is a lot more of an actual party quest than LMPQ, which amounts to farming a few mobs and collecting their drops. There's a lot more detail in OPQ as the stages vary and it requires certain party configurations. I think OPQ should actually be buffed to be the better of the two. The EXP would need a decent buff, and I think the drops should be better in that there should be some limited equip item (think slime shoes/broken glasses) you can work towards.
I think one good thing to do is to give exp based on how fast/slow you finish the OPQ. Just like LMPQ, you should get more exp if you finish faster and less exp if you finish slower. I've been OPQing ever since it came out this year. When OPQ first came out this year, the average run was around 14 minutes. Now it is like 18-20 minutes. Most of the time, it's around 20 minutes these days. I've even recently had a few >30 min runs. It would be nice to encourage people to try to get a little skilled at doing OPQ. I would love to go back to the days where 14 min PQ runs were the norm. Another problem is finding people. There are two parts: (1) No one ever is in the OPQ map. Whether it's channel 1 or any other channel. It's nearly always empty. (2) Boat rides. Now that boat rides are up and running, it'll be more difficult to get people to come to do OPQ. Imagine smegaing and then finding out that the people who whispered need 10-15 minutes to come over since they need to get on the ship from Victoria/Ludi. In my experience, most people who whisper me after I smega are either grinding/leeching at MP3 or doing LMPQ. Just imagine how much harder forming parties is now. TLR: OPQ definitely needs another EXP boost to attract people.
100% true. so hard to find party these days and it really great pq hope someone will listen to you and help OPQ to come back!
I agree that this PQ needs a buff, mainly because it is such an underrated PQ, but is actually one of the most fun PQ I ever experienced as compared to LMPQ (boring tbh).
I personally love the LMPQ, but agree that the OPQ needs a buff, tbh i skipped it completely on this server which makes me sad cuz its so fun
