So first off hey Royals community! I've been gone of an extended period of time and I'm back now. So this is something I have been thinking since the beginning of my time here on Royals (I've been playing for about 2 and a half years give or take) I would absolutely LOVE if the Aran and Evan classes were added to MapleRoyals. I started playing GMS a few months before KoC were added to the game, and to me, making a new aran or evan with the crowds at the starting areas was a huge part of what maple was all about. I don't have much of an opinion on KoC as I don't remember them much so I'll leave that topic for now. I feel like at the time of Aran and Evan, the game was not quite to that point where it all went downhill. I became a true blue Aran main, but both Aran and Evan have a really special place in my heart. I feel like the term "nostalgic maplestory private server" fits over a much wider range than just the versions with the original classes (and pirate). For me and I think for a lot of maplers the golden times included Aran and Evan. So basically I really really want this to happen. There aren't really any populated servers (that I could find) that have those classes but are also not up to date with current GMS. I really am not sure how hard this would be for the devs to accomplish or if it even fits into their vision of this server. I don't know what the current opinions are on this topic, hence this post. So what do you guys think? I'd love to hear all your opinions on this.

MapleStory is an old game. I have known it since 2007 - the american version had its 2-year-anniversary around that time, but the Korean original version was actually released 2003. This means that "nostalgia" will be different for different persons. If you started in 2010 for example, your idea of nostalgia will be far different from the one held by someone who played since 2005. In fact, they will be so different that the only thing they have in common is the word "nostalgia"
I'm already here. On topic: as it's been said, this and many other issues like it have been discussed, it won't be happening (at least not any time soon). A lot of the classes (arguable most) after pirates were broken, which resulted in the reworking of older classes to bring them back up to part (instead of carefully scaling back the new class damage/skills.)
I wouldn't mind having those classes, but personally I'd prefer having the current ones reworked instead of adding new ones.
We can right that wrong. I'd love to play an Evan again fwiw...added an interesting quest line and a different style of mage play to the game.
I've been playing since 2004, I believe the aran and evan class would definitely make royals better for sure. Old is good but keep up with this chariot called the future at least a bit. You can't be one sided so strongly (I mean you can but where is that going to get you?) Aran and Evan would be a great division.
I think a lot of people want newer classes such as mentioned above, while some may be against them. I'd say people can just get used to them + dev team buffing/nerfing classes to not have like the new classes super "op" so we all happy (kinda). Being realistic, it is not an easy work, if they do what we want only, server would be fucked up if they can't fix current bugs while adding new stuff making it worst. I would like new classes but don't think it would be good to happen atm.
