I am using a HD computer, but a smaller screen, as my original is broken.

This screen can not load MapleStory in full screen, because then I get "out of reach".

Is it possible to use window mode on MapleRoyals?

There's no system in my MapleRoyals folder?
And if you mean in-game options, how am I supposed to edit those if I cannot even enter the game because of the high resolution? ~f3

are you saying your game wont load up at all? everytime i start up royals and get to the login screen i hit alt+enter to go to window mode. if you can't start it up, you should request that a gm goes into your game/sys options and tick window mode.

if that doesnt work you could try to unlock a higher res on your monitor, my netbook used to be 1024x600 now i can get up to 1154x864. this isn't really feasible to everyone, but try google your monitor and higher res guide.

EDIT: you can even alt+enter at the wizet/nexon logo thing if you can get that far.

    1. Close all running MapleStory windows (if any)
    2. Open up Run.. dialog (Windows Key + R or Start/Run...) and type Regedit and hit Enter
    3. Locate to the following registry key:
    * x64:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Wizet\Maple Story]

    * x32: (I'm using an x64 windows version so I'm not sure about the key but it should be right)
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wizet\MapleStory]

    4. Modify the following two DWORD values (easier in Decimal mode):

Press "s" until you find them if you can't find the values.

"soResolutionWidth" = Desired width of the MapleStory window (if your screen resolution is 1366x768, put it 1024-1366)
"soResolutionHeight" = Desired height of the MapleStory window (if you screen resolution is 1366x768, put it 600-690)

5.Exit Registry Editor; start MapleStory and enjoy.

    I will try this!

To the others; I am using a very small screen, and it can not handle MapleStory's high resolution so I get (out of reach), the MapleStory game is too wide to fit my screen. Editing my own resolution doesn't change the game's resolution.

But hopefully this will solve it. 200 bucks for you ~cash
