Mechanical Gaming Keyboard and Wacom Art Tablet earlier today. Neither are being recognized by my computer. My computer won't even load if the keyboard is plugged in. I tried the rice method. It didn't work. I'm so sad. I was actually trying really hard to turn in as many pies in as I could. Now I have to wait until Tuesday (ordered keyboard via Amazon prime) to have access to any kind of computer since I don't have a laptop or tablet computer. > ~ < Literally QQing really hard right now. TFW I'm more devastated that I can't give pies to Granny Benson than losing $300 Worth of equipment (And my current source of income)
Look on the back of the keyboard for some screws, probably standard cross/Philips head. Disassemble the whole thing and remove all key caps. Go buy the highest concentration rubbing/isopropyl alcohol you can find and gently scrub the circuit board with it. Especially in areas you see a white or blue-green film.
Oh my GOSH! I did not know that this was a thing. I'll definitely have to try it out! My blessed friend lent me a normal keyboard until I can get a replacement. Now I'll try this and report if it works. Thanks so much! ; - ; <3333333
