Curious about how cs actually work. Is there a chance that cs turn a shoe without wa into a shoe with wa? Or it just increase or decrease existing stat?
Correct me if im wrong; If fails, decreases random stats by 1~5 If succeeds, increases random stats by 1~5
Correction: 60% chance for a Chaos Scroll to work meaning that every single stat on the item, including weapon defense and magic defense, will randomly go as low as -5 and as high as +5, including the possibility of just going 0. If I have an item with 5 int and 5 luk, it can be anywhere from 0 int 0 luk to 10 int 10 luk and any combination in between. The int can go positive and the luk can go negative in a single chaos scroll pass. So I can also have an item with 0 int and 10 luk by using just one chaos. There's a 40% for a chaos scroll to just fail, meaning nothing happens and you lose a slot on your item unless you used a white scroll to prevent it. And no, if you have a clean Brown Work Glove, nothing will happen to it even if you pass a chaos on it. You'd lose a slot, but nothing else would happen because Brown Work Gloves have no stat on them when they're clean, not even weapon defense or magic defense. Chaos scrolls only affect the stats on the item they're used on, and those stats have to exist on the item in the first place.
I cs a fs several days ago and it is wa 2 clean, first cs failed, it stays wa 2 and 2nd succeed, and I got a weapon def 2 fs here without any wa. That's weird. I'll post a screenshot of my fs later.
nothing weird, that is exactly how it's supposed to work. if it succeeds, it will cause CHAOS, meaning it could make it worse or better, anywhere from -5 to +5.
If I cs it again, is there any chance that It got the wa back because wa=0 doesn't mean that stat doesn't exist on this item according to what you guys say, right?
I think if it fails then it fails, youre out of a slot. If it succeed, then it have chance of increasing your stats by +1-5 or decrease your stats by +1-5. Thats what my interpretation is tho.
