It wasn't an easy decision to make, because I enjoy playing Maplestory and a number of my friends had returned. I came back from a long hiatus about 2 months ago and had hoped to keep playing for a lot longer. However, the combination of recent drama here and the unstable state the server is still in after the new source, and the fact that I have real life goals that I would be happier in the long term if I put time into instead of playing royals, with a heavy heart I'm moving on for at least a few months, maybe years, maybe forever. I'll still come by the forum occasionally, at the very least to say hi to the shoutbox crowd. Shout out to friends Tentomon: Thanks for being my loyal DrK! We had great times training at skeles and zakum to get you to level 153. HeroHeidi (was that your name?): Sorry I never played with you, I always seemed to favour CaptainHeidi and Tentomon. Gomamon: Maybe when I return in 10 years time I will finally let you sell 1 hour of leech. A bishop deserves more than I gave you. Tentomon always seemed to be the favourite eh? CaptainHeidi: Oh my dear pirate, we had good times though. Sorry you never got to 4th job, I was looking so forward to you being a Corsair and us going to zakum together. Ah well, you had adventures with me anyway.
I don't know you, but sounds like you had a lot of good times here. Memories well remembered are always worth the time spent gaining them. GL in the future.
BTW Just so we're clear, it really was a combination of factors (just clearing this up as I think @Stomp was a bit worried he was part of me quitting lol). While I'm obviously very unhappy about recent events here, the bigger one was seriously the time creep of the addiction of it all. When you're spending too much time thinking about royals even when you're not playing it (e.g. when you should be focussing on work), you know you have an issue
