So in tutorial island, i realised i was doing no damage to the mobs so i put all my stat into str to give me damage now im level 12 and i just advanced to magician but my ability point did not reset and i have 48 str and 24 int... what should i do? should i reset my character??? if so, how do i cope with tutorial island as a mage if im not supposed to increase my strength?? Thanks!
Yes, you should reset/create a new char. Your AP doesn't reset on job advance. Mage usually has the hardest life in Maple Island simply because they add all to INT.
thanks for the fast reply! is there a quest guideline as to what quests are compulsory for tutorial island? there's so many to do and im not sure which ones to do as a mage. i just wanna quickly get out of there.
Pretty much everything along the way. If you finish everything, I think you could reach lv11 or so. Since you're a mage, just do whatever quests that you came across till you reach level 8 will do. The most troublesome one would be the one that asks you to kill the slimes and pigs.
Best way I could think of is to collect about over 50 green snails on the first map in the island. Put lv 1 skill point on the beginner snail skill. And keep it at lv 1 til your green snail runs out or have other enough blue/red snail. Your throwing snail skill does over 10 same dmg regardless mob def while your basic attack will do mostly 1 dmg if u have all int on stat. Check all the quest you come across and do only easy ones because you only need lv 7 to get out of the island and lv 8 to advance to mage.
