Just making a thread for people to share their hobbies! For me I love flying fpv quadcopters. AKA IRL podracing! I picked up this hobby a couple years back and has become very enjoyable. Basically, you take a fast-little quadcopter (or remote control plane) and stick a camera and transmitter on it so you can receive the video feed from the quadcopter and view through either a monitor or some specialized goggles letting you fly around in first person. It can be somewhat of a hassle to repair things at times especially if you like to fly recklessly, but the payoff, once you get used to the controls, is being able to go to any non-crowded place you want and just start flying around with a very immersive experience. Here is one of the videos that got me initially hooked: I’d love to hear more about your guy's hobbies too!
I fly a bit as well, but I'm more into radio controlled things with wheels. I have about 8 hobby grade RC cars from little buggies to big 1/8 scale monster trucks that go 70 MPH. I've dumped a fair bit of money into them over the years, but it's a lot of fun! I never tried racing quads, but my utility drone records some good footage in 4K. I also enjoy fixing electronics. TVs, stereos, phones, computers and more.
70 mph holy moly! That's fast! I've wanted to try building some long range fpv explorer buggies, but it probably won't happen for a while since most of my extra fun money is going into fixing up an old fixed wing.
Fitness lover here. My conditioning days are so intense(for me anyway) I feel like puking or fainting. 50 of the following(push up, situp, squat and inverted rows), at least once a week, so 200 reps and I only managed to complete those in 10-11mins. The day I'm good enough to complete those under 8mins, I'm doubling the reps for my usual conditioning days, which would be 400 reps with minimal rest within 16min. Can't wait to see the day I'm able to grind out a thousand push ups. Just a month or two ago, I could barely do 5, now I'm dishing out 50 with max effort of course. For now, I'm just going to enjoy my journey to the thousand reps, and to my best and fittest state of my life.
Ehhhy! Just finished watching mob 100 and re-zero over Thanksgiving break with a roommate, was a lota fun.
Eating food and playing new mobile games. Animal Crossing on the mobile is the best game of the upcoming 2 weeks, I can assure you.
Ehhhy! I love doing board game nights with my buddies too. DnD, Settlers of Catan, and this kinda less known one called Frag our favorites. Still yet to find my own copy of Catan through, all the stores selling it are kinda pricey.
I miss the old days of playing Omega Virus for hours on end with my brothers. Still wish I could find a good condition complete game for $100 or less.
Not even a jocke or rasist, but i don't understand they lenguaje. So why not try to understand this by learn it : D
I love board games! Haven't really had time for more intense longer games so I've been playing some short tabletop games like Coup or Sushi Go recently :3
