I actually met my gf on EMS. Lol, married with a kid now. I've met a few of the guys off EMS during my trips to Sweden. Now that I'm living here, I'll have to met up with a few more.

There was four of us that played on EMS from Bermuda. Since its a small country, 70,000 people and 24 square miles, wasn't that hard to met up with them. One was actually my neighbor, just across the street.

 

I used to be quite the flirt in maple, didn't have much for friends in rl. I made a friend named nate who played it too, but only tell level 35 or so. Most my guildies from the guild I ran stayed friends on facebook. I ended up getting caught though. I became so popular in kradia that the kids in high school all knew who I was some played some didn't, but they'd whisper about me and rumors. Dated someone who ended up being a schoolmates cousin. Alot of gossip came from there. Best memory would be 12-15 I dated and our families had agreed for us to marry. It wasn't meant to be, but our families only lived 20 minutes away I lived in Minnesota though and she was in Virginia. We're still friends on facebook though, sometimes talk and see how each others lives are.

Wow this is an amazing story since the same exact thing is happening to me and my girlfriend who I met on here last Spring/Summer. Except it took us 9 painful months to finally meet. You guys had to wait two years!! I couldn’t imagine being apart from her for 2 years! Builds a lot of trust and then when you do meet it feels so natural like you’ve been next to them the entire time.

Happy for you guys and wish you the best. Same goes for everyone else who is doing the same as us

2009 Around the time quit maple story I had met a guild member that lived about an hour away. He lived in a town that I would pass though on the way home from college. The guy was a super good to his friends but a jerk if you were not. I would frequently have to mute him on voice chat channels because I couldn't stand hearing him swear at his wife and children. Anyways since I was his friend and I had just broken up with a long time girlfriend I needed some friends to hang out with. So on a trip home we met at a bar, played pool and hung out. I chatted on the phone with him from time to time to help me deal with the depression. If I recall he was a distraction at best because his advice was basically just gave the 'yeah life sucks, women are evil' type of stuff that are somehow suppose to make someone feel better off alone.

Several years earlier my ex girlfriend and I had met a guild member on a trip we took to Dallas. I don't remember much about it other than we met at a local mall then went to their place and played Rock Band a bit.

I don't think my Ex counts cause we met IRL at the restaurant job we worked at during the summer. When I went to College about 2.5 hours away we both started playing maple story as an activity for our semi-long-distance relationship. We both played maple for the whole 3 years we were together and I quit the game maybe 3-6 months after we split.
