Is there any way to delete an account?

    I would like to recover the username I used when making my account, it's a low level and the only character. I messed up early because my friend told me the AP reset at second job but he was looking at something for current maple and now my mage has 40+ points in STR. I know you can't delete characters but if the whole account were deleted would the name become available again? If not is there any way I can get her name changed to literally anything so I can make a new character with the name?

    Also how long has deletion been down? It looks like its been a long time but even recent threads like this say 'wait for it to be fixed' which makes me think its coming somewhat soon?

    Character deletion is down since new source(since 2017) it'll probably be re-implemented in a few months. it costs 20 RP(royal points - donor points) to change an IGN or swap two characters's IGN's so you can do that if you want. Not sure why you've raised 40 points in STR but just so you know it's recommended in Royals to put all AP in int(when playing mage), and yeah it's better to remake than to use AP resets cuz AP resets are 15m per each point (15*40 = 600m). If you want help from the admins regarding deleting your account or something like that you should post in the Character Issues section, good luck :).

    Yeah it was dumb of me because I didn't look at the info for myself, I'm not even sure where he saw it. It was because he told me they reset when you get to 1st job so I was like, well okay lets boost STR so leveling to 8 is easier and then I can put them where they belong when they reset. I have a lot of experience playing GMS so it wasn't a maple noob move it was just a life noob move lol.

    I don't mind paying waiting the few months, or paying the $10 if I really have to, but I was hoping maybe account deletion wasn't broken like character deletion is. I made a new account immediately when I realized (maybe 45 min into playing, if that), leaving the one lvl ~10 and nothing else, and have been playing on the new one since.

    Thanks for the advice about posting this elsewhere, I'll try that.
