Alright so let me get my point ACROSS THIS JOINT. I don't understand why I got a permanent retirement when I feel like I should've gotten a 7 day vacation? I'm looking at the ToS right now and I didn't break a Major Infraction, so I just want to know why it's a perma ban --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Alright BAN APPEAL NUMERO DOS- Ok, now lets understand, from square 1 how this all started. My dear, fearless, leader Scott (Memorable RIP) was banned earlier today and as anyone would be if their friend was banned, I was pretty upset. Now was his ban warranted? Maybe, maybe not I don't know all the logistics of what deserves a perma ban vs 14 day ban in his situation. Regardless, the smegas that went on during that time was a way for all of Scott's friends to express themselves while poking a little fun at the GMs. I think it's a totally fair statement when I say the GMs on this server have, at many times it seems like, acted emotionally rather than logically when giving out punishments. Now what I said in your screenshot was indeed, ban worthy. A permanent ban? I don't think so. Hate Speech - The act of transmitting any sort of content or acting out any scenario which could be perceived as derogatory or otherwise prejudiced towards any group of people based on their race, sex, gender, life choices, or any other division. Punishment: First offense - 3 day ban, Second offense - 7 day ban, Third offense - Permanent ban. Now you say GMs are able to exercise their right freely when it comes to certain circumstances, but why is that infraction even in the ToS when you follow is so loosely? Besides, was what I said "so despicable" that it doesn't even warrant a warning, or even skipping the punishment for the first offense? If anything, I believe that a 7, even a 14 day ban, with a stern message that says something along the lines of "This type of behavior will not be tolerated, any further comments such as these will result in your account being removed permanently." I think the fact that I was immediately perma banned instead of being given a warning and a 7-14 day ban was the result of whoever banned me (I think it was you Timmy?) acting emotionally because I came for staff members, rather than acting logically without bias. There are plenty of people on this server who actually say "despicable" things such as sexual harassment, telling someone to cause self injury, etc. TLDR- I believe I was permanently banned because I poked fun at the staff members, and had I said that about anyone else it would've been a lighter sentence.
To add to my point, nothing I smega'd was over the top racially offensive, and the most racially offensive smega I made was when I said "Fuck the GMs coming straight from the underground, young Memorable got it bad cause he's brown" which is a SONG by my boys NWA. Which is a terrible reminder why they even existed, because of the oppression they faced from shit police officers (the GMs on this server who get butthurt) and wanted to speak out and let their voice be heard. I'm sorry if I offended (not sorry) some of you children but nothing I said was a MAJOR INFRACTION. So if you guys curve the rules to your own favor and permanently ban whoever you want, why do the ToS even exist?

In the end, I admit fault and the fact that yes, I do deserve a temporary time out to rethink my actions and behavior regarding this game, and for that I do sincerely, from the top and bottom of my heart apologize.
In a short period of time you used smegas to: 1. compare mapleroyals to a nazi camp 2. say that GMs are hitler 3. used the N- word in a smega we're not interested in people with your behavior on our server so I dealt the most severe punishment to you. It is however fair to have a second opinion on your case by other staff members so I am open for that.
Do you have a screenshot of me saying the n-word? I genuinely don't remember saying that but perhaps I have selective memory. Besides, if I had a previous track record of being toxic to the community, being offensive to other players, scamming, or anything against the ToS, then maybe a permanent ban would be appropriate for this situation, but I believe I have been a pretty good member of the community up until this point.
Bumparino and memoir Now that I've had a couple days to think about my ban, these are the thoughts I've gathered after a long and thoughtful past couple days. In the recent events that happened, there are things I regret and things that I don't regret. I regret the way I voiced my frustration about not just Scott being banned, but I stand by my frustration in the way that bans are handled in this server as a whole. I do believe though that people, outside of those who hack/bug abuse, deserve a second chance at fixing their mistake and behavior. At the end of the day, we should strive for this server to constantly gain more players, and get rid of the most toxic ones/the ones who hack and bug abuse. The Server gains a larger community, and also gains more donations. In cases like mine, I do believe a stern warning and ban for a week or two will do its job in correcting my, and people similar to my situation's behavior. It's proven that in a large game like League of Legends, they say ~70-80% ish of players who get punished, i.e. temporary ban/chat restriction, don't make the same mistake twice and end up correcting their behavior. So all in all, I stand by my statement in saying that the mod who banned me was on a bit of a power trip. Perhaps to make an example out of me when it comes to directly insulting the server and GMs? I realize this won't change anything about how the server and ban system is run, but I just wanted to clearly voice my opinion without being driven by emotion. Now with that said, that does not mean I think my behavior was okay in any way. I apologize for the way I came across, and making a gross comparison that shouldn't be taken lightly. There are excuses to why I made that particular comparison, but at this point I don't think anyone neither cares nor wants to read about the reasoning; it wasn't even a good way to get my point across. It wasn't a clever or appropriate joke/comparison, and there were better ways to voice my frustration. The correct response should've just been to step away from the computer and relax; perhaps play a different game to distract myself from saying anything stupid that would get me in trouble. In the end, after taking time away from the game, I regret the decisions I've made and apologize to the ones I've offended, both GMs and the regular playerbase. If given a second chance after a week or two weeks or however long ban, I will make sure to be an outstanding citizen of this game. Thanks for taking the time to read. Upon review and second opinions from other staff members we decided to reduce your ban to a temporary ban for 14 days starting from the day you were banned (until 2017-12-25 05:26:40 server time, merry Christmas!) We've come to this conclusion because: - we understand your frustration and all this disruptive behavior took place on the same day within the same 30 minutes without having a prior ban - you seem to have come to your senses more after having a small break
