I can't find anything on this. My main is going to be a washed NL. Invested in some decent and avg INT equips. And I've been farming stoppers. But I'm wondering if I'm doing this right and I should ditch the bishop at -130 for an F/P. I just want to fund.
Both have pro and cons. Briefly, bishop is more convenient and FP mage is more rewarding. Bishop can leech any lv when FP mage is only limited to lv 85 and above leech. So finding a buyer is more convenient. Bishop can be used as your hs mule and can join boss party when FP mage can't boss at all. In order to sell leech as a FP mage, you must have HS mule which means you need to create another character and make him lv 81. You need to have 2 windows opened and able to play back and forth while leeching. End game leeching place for fp mage is Petri. 1hitting at Petri as a FP mage isn't hard compare to Bishop 1 hitting at Skele. Generally meteor skill books are cheaper than Genesis. Petri leech charges little bit more than Skele due to higher exp gain. Hassle but more rewarding.
If your bishop is already that high, I'd just stick with it. Make sure your nightlord is on another account so you can leech it and bring bishop along to krex. Bishops are pretty weak compared to arch mages but you'd have to grind your archmage and a priest to sell leech on it. Use that time to get enough magic to 1hit wolf spiders or something instead.
The 2 posts above mine have already presented almost everything , but I'll add that if you are planning to use a mage as your main source of income even after washing a NL all the way towards endgame gear , go with F/P and a hs mule , but if you are just planning to focus on your nl and play it casually after it's washed stick with your bishop .
