Why would you rely on someone else when you can bring your own stuff? Nobody is talking about entitlement. Yeah practice a lot if you wanna go but just like any other boss run, I wouldn't rely on others for HS, etc if I have my own access to it. Even if it takes me an eternity, I'll eventually get it. Just personal preferences.
There is so many failures in the society and u know why, because once they fail, they complain and crying for a easy way. Cancer and toxic.
This, this so much. I have mild color blindness, in which every shade of red basically looks the same off white pink to me. It took me over 20 hours to do the jump quest by guessing based on the things moving on the screen, which WAS NOT EASY. But it was either this or the other method which i consider self torture and not something you should be doing until you get a map wide AOE skill.
I've completed this jump quest well over a hundred times at this point. The first few times I did it, I thought there was no solution. As it turns out, there is one. I'm aware that some people have poor or altered eyesight, as I'm one of those people - I've had poor eyesight since I was born and I'm strongly red-green deficient. It takes focus and practice, but I've still been able to complete every jump quest in MapleStory at least once. Some are more difficult than others, and I'm rarely good at new ones, but they're all doable. What used to take me half an hour to complete the short Castle Corridor JQ now rarely takes more than a couple of minutes. I can accept the concept of equality for people who have physical limitations on them, and I wholeheartedly support the idea of it. I will also say that I genuinely believe that many people who believe they can't complete a jump quest due to some limitations are simply not trying hard enough to learn the patterns. I can understand not being able to properly see and do things at the right times - this is what I still struggle with myself as well. But there is a solution, and if you know what it is, there's only so many times you can mess it up because of eyesight. I truly believe that anyone, eyesight problems or not, can complete this jumpquest. It's not strobing, it's not cluttered. There's actually pretty decent contrasting in this map, if you ask me. I think a lot of players just hear the words "jump quest" and immediately just give up. You should not be rewarded for giving up. This is a video game - games reward good play. Despite the above, I'm in support of an alternative to skip this jump quest only because people with limitations in the real world tend to get assistance with the things that they do, and I think that the game should be the same way. It shouldn't be easy to complete because this is a game, but some sort of quest or task required for a skip pass if well thought out would probably be a fair alternative.
So you are planning on killing 9999 mobs everytime you want to fight the Toad? This JQ is 500% different from the zakum JQ. At zakum you earn the right to enter after doing the JQ or alternative one time. For the Toad you need to jump every time you want to go toad hunting. For a optional boss with shitty drops you wont get enough support to even get the GM's to adress this "problem" On a side note: If mapleroyals had the Targa and Scarlion bosses with helm drops i probably would not have polled for the alternative ZJQ becouse why go trough al this effort if you can get a slightly poorer helm for no effort. (yes i know some skillbooks are from zakum also)
