Good day fellow royallers and Staff of MapleRoyals, I'm back here again. writing a post that i feel ANYONE that wants to host a Zakum Run MUST READ! Im not an excellent host/ leader myself but i have experienced / Seen some cases with a really horrible leader. I'm sure many of you can relate! So one day! i decided not to host. and joined someone else's party(6man). (No names will be mentioned), Gene20 dropped. (Market Price of Gene20: 1.45-1.5 as of 16Dec2017). Leader loots of course. Days later, it was sold, he said he sold it at 1.4B, cheaper than the rest...but that's okay, well and... he sold it by TRADE,... oh alright...a leader with no shop... its fine... but can you do payment in my shop by ETC/Arrows 10m EA? Nope, he doesn't want it. Cheap Gene20 By Trade and bad method for payment of splits . Triple Loss. i swore a vow not to join anymore unknown ZAK runs. Seen cases like Samwich where he was not paid properly by the leader. Cases where some teammates snatches and tries to sell the gene20 for some fishy reasons. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here we go, VALUES and THINGS a Zakum Leader should have 1) An ITEM Shop (For God's Sake) 2) Finalize your decision on the Prices you will be selling at, Maximize the splits for the team as much or as best you can. 3) Know the strength of your team and what is lack of it before you run one. (especially one with buyers) 4) Everyone wants to profit, but be fair (Best that you can) Also please Vote the POLL on top! Questions : Do you as a zakum leader deduct the splits from the megas you used? because i dont. Do you as a zakum leader/Teammate make sure everyone is using HeartStoppers?Because i try my best to encourage them to Do you as a zakum leader allow EOF for 5K NX? Because i try my best not to. 5K : 20M. (think my team should know ) [Note : AP Reset 3.1kNX = 15M-16M]
Isn't those 4 things you listed kind of "duh"? For 5K NX, whoever drops EoF gets it. Simple as that, no split on it. EoF is almost around 20m anyway.
Some don't possess those things listed. your right, EOF For 5K NX should be the standard way! Thank you for taking the time to read!
when im the leader, in which i am often, i do not do 1 arrow each buys. Please dont make me have to click +enter 35 times to give you a payment XD. When i see that crap i just buy it all at once. Bundles of 5 or 10 is fine but 1 at a time @10m each is just ridiculous imo. I personally do subtract some smega cost. I find it reasonable since i am also doing alot of work by organizing while the other members just get to sit around. Edit: does zakum drop 5k nx guaranteed? i have been in some runs where i didnt see it, wondering if maybe some people looted it
Just run with your friends and take it easy... if you don’t have any because you’re new, don’t panic, we all were new once. Join a guild and make some friends there. I can’t remember the last time I had an actual disagreement over a Zakum run, how it was run, splits, anything. There are so many threads lately about Zakum issues and I feel like it all could be avoided. As for your questions, keeping in mind I never run with randoms, smega money isn’t deducted from splits, people are free to use what pots they want because we’ll all remember it and make fun of the cheap people for life, and the 5K NX always goes to the person who dropped the eye. If that player doesn’t make it, someone loots it and reimburses the dropper with an EoF afterwards.
As kai said the one who drops the EOF gets the 5k nx. You should list one more thing about a leader : patience to deal with buyers You will have some issues during ur road because not everyone use stoppers , I've been in some random runs and what I experienced was that some of them were using warrior pots, red ciders. Not all the people are funded or have mules to farm stoppers . My recomendation for you should be to get some homies and try to do trio/quad zak would be the best for you if you want a good run with people you know will use stopper.
I can't even get it together to make sure everyone is registered before going in. A job better left to someone else.
