I read the rules on this site. They all looked normal, as in most games and private servers. However, I feel the actions taken to issue a ban on my account, Vatsug, was unecessary and excessive. I played the game for 2 days, spent an unusual amount of time behind the computer. Then, out of nowhere, I was forced out of the game and was told I could not log on before the 27th of August. Why? Profane language. If I can stop if I'm told? Yes, of course. What have I done wrong? I recall writing "Hey f**", to someone with an exclusive name, taken from a legendary Maple global player. The not so pleasant word for "homosexual". Did I do it out of anger? No. Insanity? Ney. Maybe tourette syndrome? Nope. I wrote what I wrote as a friendly action, meaning no more than "hello". I admit it might not be a word many people approve of, however, my intention was not to harm, belittle, or discriminate against someone. My full intention was to gain their attention and .. make a friend? Apparently, the person took it as an insult, and 2 min later he turned idle, probably writing a report in my disadvantage. To conclude: My intention is never to do harm, but to spread joy. To report for such a trivial matter, one should be banned oneself I do wish you would search your heart for the slightest hint of mercy and remove my ban. You will not hear from my "misbehavior" again
You wrote the word with an @ to bypass censorship, you knew it was wrong and would be censored. You were reported for it, you knew it was wrong, and you were banned for 3 days, case closed. I think you can wait until your ban is over.
If I can wait? Sure. If I want to wait? That's another matter Not to "beg for sympathy", which is kinda what I really do, but I have an unusual amount of time this weekend I can spend on gaming, as I tend to be more busy. Could this one slide? The thing about using @ to pass censorship never really struck my mind, it's just a bad habit. It is right to see my actions as inappropriate, however as stated before, it was not meant to be anything else than a friendly greeting, which is a real-life habit. Of course, not doing it again in-game. Thanks for the quick response :3
There is no joy spread by using words like that. The ban stands. Hopefully you'll know better next time.
I can't think of any scenario where calling somebody by that word would not cause offence. Bad judgement on your part.
