Hi. I've a question. I'm leveling my priest now on GS, but it seems quite slow, therefore I want to change my grind-spot, but I don't know whether I can do any better somewhere else now. If not, I'm planning on staying on GS till maxing one of my 3rd job skills, but : 1) I don't even know which one. Should I max HS or SR? The thing is that I'm playing alone, so I probably won't have much use out of my Holy Symbol (like 10% maxed?...). Shinning Ray should let me to farm Wolf Spiders around level 80, am I right? It should be way faster than GS with Heal, but I wouldn't have HS maxed till 90. 2) If I maxed HS by level ~81, well... I don't really know what I could do. I can't manage solo WS in situation like that, and I don't have any good plan really. I could find someone to duo-GS, buut the thing is, doesn't HS requires OVER 2 people in order to work 100%? (For 1 person it's 10%, for two IDK, for three and more - 50%, am I right?). Any ideas how to go through this annoying phase as priest? Since level 90 there's more option, I've maxed HS + SR, I can do Dreamy Ghosts, etc. But now... I don't know :/
With max hs, in a party of 2, each player still gets more xp than would they would without hs. I would max HS then try a CB, DK, or FP training partner within 5 levels and go to Himes in case of CB or DK, or Petris in case of FP. You could also browse the WS channels looking for people training and offer HS.
I can't do Himes or Petris before level 90, because they're both over 100, so I won't get any party EXP :/ They seems like very good places to grind, but AFTER level 90, when I'll already have HS + SR maxed both anyway. But I don't know what to do before that 90 lvl. I'm saving SP points now, because I don't know whether 81-90 would be easier with maxed HS or SR.
if your training partner is within 5 levels, you'll still get xp. max hs and find a training partner within 5 levels.
Thanks! I decided to max HS (well - I'm on my way to do this) couple hours ago, and clearly it was good decision. I thought that it's about monster lvl, but I guess it's about monster's level only when partner is too high/low. So now I know what to do
This ^ If you find a Lv.77 DK and feed him Maple Pops, he can leech you at Himes A Lv.77 CB won't have the same accuracy problems, I believe. So I think you're good to go for Himes already (Just guessing, I have no personal Priest experience)
