Make (Cosmetic) NX Items Purchasable With RoyalPoints

I looked through other feedback threads and searched for a bit with no results, so I apologize if this has been brought up already and I just didn't see it.

Logically, I see no reasons against making regular (cosmetic) NX items purchasable with RoyalPoints. There is no pay2win aspect, there is no upper hand being given, the only benefit is a different look for your character, which is 100% aesthetic.
Many people are voting every day and not using their NX for cosmetic items, and only for AP Resets and Gachapon tickets. But there are also many more who donate to the server to get some snazzy new Cash Shop clothing to make their character look the way they want. My request is to simply add the option to buy regular, cosmetic only, NX items with RoyalPoints. Of course, there would have to be an exchange rate put into place, and I don't think dividing by 1,000 would work. I would think more along the lines of RP : NX as 350 : 1. If we look at most weapons in the NX section, they are about 5,000 NX points. Divided by 350 gets us to roughly 14.25. Most (or maybe all) RP weapons are 15 RP.

This will spur more donations coming in to the server as it opens up hundreds, if not thousands, of new cosmetic items to be available for purchase in game with RP.


EDIT : It was just brought to my attention that the regular NX items are tradeable, so this idea would only be feasible if that can be altered, perhaps moving the regular cosmetic NX items in to the Donor section in the Cash Shop?

 

Sorry i just had to ask, why would you want to spend real money for regular NX items? That’s such a waste of money given that regular NX items can be bought with both FREE NX and mesos from other players

 

Because I would personally rather save my vote NX for AP Resets and/or Gachapon. The main point of RoyalPoints is to get cosmetic items in the Cash Shop, but it's pretty limited as to what's available.

 

While small in scale, this is exactly pay2win. You're saying you would rather buy the meso related NX items than buy cosmetics. It's the same as using NX to buy the cosmetics, and real money to buy AP Resets/Gachapon tickets...

 

Not at all. Because either way, I would not use my vote NX for cosmetic items, only for Gachapon, AP Resets, and store permits. Even if this idea was outright denied 100% by @Matt (which has pretty much been done in Shoutbox, due mostly to the amount of time it would take to move items over), I would still only use my vote NX for those items and just suffer with the same cosmetic items the Donor shop has to offer.

 

Freeing up NX that someone would have otherwise used on cosmetic items so that they can spend it on resets and gacha makes it p2w.

 

I don't know if you noticed, but most non-RP cash items are tradeable. Unless the items purchased through RP are untradeable, this opens up possibilities for P2W since you'd be able to effectively sell unlimited NX provided your wallet can take a hit. Can't say I'm a fan of any variation of this suggestion.

 

For what it's worth you can. However an AP reset would set you back about 1500$ worth of RP

(you're looking at cosmetics, I just used an AP reset because I know its worth 3100 NX)

It could get messy in my opinion as I've seen some people selling nx for mesos and not necessarily ap resets but cosmetics as well even for a small ratio ..

 

Please don't reply if you aren't going to read all posted comments. It's not pay2win for what I am specifically suggesting, and saying that only shows you didn't read everything.
Anyway, since this idea was shot down by Matt because of the amount of work involved, can a staff member please lock the thread? I will just pick and choose my most wanted items and post them on the donor NX wishlist thread.

 

We are not going to take NX from the regular Cash Shop and add them to the Donor section, so please don't request items that already exists in Cash Shop.
