I believe there is a bug in the math on tax deduction. I did receive the correct after tax amount (34,998,800 * 0.97 = 33,948,836), but the amount displayed on the Total Sales/Total Receive is incorrect. 34,123,830/34,998,800=0.975 = 2.5% tax not 3%
This is a client issue - unlike Hired Merchants, the client displays that number based on a calculation it does over the list of your sold items. As such, it is purely visual and it uses the 'normal' tax rates. This will be fixed in the next client update.
