Closed Item (from Snowman present) disappeared from inventory upon leaving Happyville

Hi Royals team,

I hope you all had a Happy New Year.

IGN: Dookz
Problem: Received Red Sock from Happyville Snowman event, and it disappeared upon leaving Happyville.
Details: Described thoroughly below.

This past Saturday, 12/30/2017, I participated in a Snowman event and the channel successfully killed it. I picked up a Blue Present and submitted it to the tree and to my surprise, received a Red Christmas Sock (+1 watt 7 slot shoe). I have attached a screenshot which shows me receiving this item, and a second screenshot that shows the server time.

I decided to quickly leave Happyville and put the sock in my storage (to keep it "safe"), and to my surprise, I notice there is no longer a sock in my inventory. I have no idea what happened or how. There is no message that shows I "lost Red Sock."

I understand the team likely has many many issues to deal with on a daily basis so I try to avoid bringing insignificant issues to your attention if possible, but given the value of a Red Sock is north of 1 billion mesos, would the team kindly be able to investigate the issue? I really hope to get the sock back somehow and I believe the screenshots attached could help demonstrate that the aforementioned events occurred as described.

Please let me know if the team needs more information.

So you left Happyville, and went to a storage keeper after that? And when you scrolled through your inventory, you couldn't find the sock?

Sounds like a weird thing to happen. I guess people should know if this is a glitch. Feels weird to believe it wouldn't be safe to leave Happyville though...
are you sure you didn't receive a "Cursed Red Sock"?

 

That's correct. Looked at my inventory and sock was no longer there. I don't know how much this helps, but I want to note that upon receiving the sock, I naturally looked at my inventory to look at the sock itself (confirming standard stats, confirming it was the red sock not the messenger sock, etc.), and everything was normal.

Hopefully it wasn't cursed and hopefully I'm not cursed!

I apologize, I don't have an uncropped screenshot I just quickly used Window's Snipping Tool and focused on the chat. My inventory happened to be up at the time and the cutting off of the top line is an unfortunate coincidence.

Perhaps it seems like I am hiding a red sock on the top line. I think if you look at the Green Sock's thumbnail (which I assume is the same as the Red Sock's thumbnail but Green in color of course), you can see that the bottom part of the Green Sock reaches the bottom edge of the Inventory cell and reaches through the circular shadow on the bottom of the thumbnail. Again, given that the Red Sock's sprite is structured the same, you should be able to see the bottom part of the Red Sock in the top left cell even given the cropped view, as we can see the bottom of the Green Sock in its own inventory cell. The cropped top line shows the shadow an item would create, but no part of a red sock appears in that shadow.

The item is actual another red rudolph nose. For avoidance of doubt, I've attached a screenshot of my current inventory which remains essentially the same except I recently dropped a second red rudolph nose (the one to the right of the Green Sock in redsock1.png) and kept another in the top left cell. The items in the adjacent cells to the right of the rudolph nose in the top left cell are the following, in order: 1. zombie hunter mask 2. white gomushin 3. maplemas lights.

I think even the cropped view confirms the items I described above, but let me know if you need more information.

I understand your position.

Is there any way to check functions related to Scrooge, the storage keeper? That is the only other NPC I clicked on during this time. I barely scroll anything to begin with, and I haven't owned a chaos scroll since about 4 months ago. I don't know how else to explain the situation. I watched the red sock enter my inventory when I submitted the present, I don't understand how it can just disappear.

If there is anything I can do to help this case, please tell me. Is there any way to help show that the game coded the receipt of a red sock in my inventory?
