Hello guys, i am currently a level 151 hero with 19.9k hp at my current level with 50 total int for future level ups.
I was wondering what is the minimum hp needed to be a Seduce mule in horntail expeditions? Because i know that runners will never take more than one warrior in their horntail runs and i am a little bit worried about if i will ever be recruited into runs.
I calculated how many hp i could possibly have by 200 from level up hp and the extra resets i could do from my 50 int and that lead me to about 26.5k hp at level 200.

Tl;dr: lvl 151 hero wondering what minimum hp would HT expeditions recruit for Sed mule/attacker position.

I'm not too sure about the New Source HT. Someone confirm it please?

But in Old Source HT, with 30k HP + Max Power Guard + Max Achillies, you can barely survive 2 HT tail hits. The numerous times I was Seduced and ran into HT tail to the right, I was able to tank 2 hits with around 2k HP left over for the rocks to finish killing me.

But yeah, as Kai said, ideally you want 30k HP.

My hero has 13k hp and I've used it as seduce plenty of times and it does fine. Just know what you're doing and you'll be fine

Agree. I accidentally became sed mule on 11.6k HP NL and survived.

I'd recommend 20k + HP on Hero with Achilles 30 to reliable tank seduce. Survival is dependent on the skill of the bishop now since Power Guard no longer reduces magic damage (1/1).

    Your bishop wasn't a scrub.

I always play bishop and I think it's fair to say that I have quite a lot of experience at HT.

Almost always I'll multiclient my own sed mule, a 30k HP SI/TL mule. But if I was going to HT on my second bishop with my sed mule (and therefore first bishop) on CD, 20k is the absolute minimum HP I'd be comfortable with accepting a sed mule on a HT run. If the person playing the sed mule character is someone who I know is experienced, I'm much more flexible with their HP. But if it's someone who I don't know and I don't trust to properly communicate when they are seduced and what direction they are going in, I definitely want them to have 20k HP for a margin of error. There's nothing more stressful than someone who suddenly starts walking into the tail at the start of main body and didn't say anything to me so I don't see them until they touch leg because everyone is so crowded on the left at they're DPSing and they don't know their survivability with tail touch damage and they don't use Hero's Will and yeah... There's a chance they're going to die. So if you're sed, make sure you say "sed" or "s" when you see that seduce message on your client and say "<<<<" or ">>>" to indicate direction. No need to say anything for direction if you're jumping. The bishop will notice. It's pretty obvious when someone starts jumping around for no reason. Make sure you have max Hero's Will and use it when you're walking into the tail. It's pretty much the only time there's some urgency, so it's worth using it. As a hero who wants to go on HT runs, I'm much more concerned for you because of how, quite frankly, bad heroes and warriors in general are at HT. Warriors are great sed mules but honestly, I don't want a warrior attacker on my HT run unless they're a friend of mine. The problem is that warriors slow the run down. You see, when everyone is killing Head A, B, or C, they'll temporarily move to the wings and eventually the hands to keep up the DPS when those heads cast their weapon cancel. Then when the weapon cancel is over, they'll move back to killing the head. HT is now a 1v1 DPS fest of switching targets for efficient kills and eliminating idle downtime. With a warrior multitarget hitting wings and hands and occasionally a head that moves down in its attack animation, these backup targets used when the heads weapon cancel die faster so now there's the possibility that the party is going to sit there and do nothing waiting for the weapon cancel to be over because late into the fight the wings are already dead and both of the hands are in danger of starting their mass sed attacks because they're about to be below 30% HP. So in summary, pay attention when you're seduced and communicate with the bishop when you are, where you're going, and use your Hero's Will when needed. But the main thing is to get connected, make friends. No one really wants a warrior for their DPS and it's really easy to just multiclient a sed mule, but people will always want to bring a friend. :D

Wow, i love how you really explained everything and i thank you for that, that responds to all of my questions. :)

I remember Matt saying he will do something to make meelee classes more viable at horntail soon, so i will cross fingers on that too! :)

By any chance, does anyone know if he said more information about that?
