When i play on my alt(s) my main account starts to lag *heavily*. it doesn't matter which client i open first, my main account (SunnyFip) is always the one that lags. my CPU is under 50% usage at all times. my ram is under 30% usage (and i have chrome open, it takes more than all 3 clients at once) any help would be appreciated
Sometimes I get a lil' lag when I open more clients, noticeably when all my clients are in maps with lots of traffic going in/out. Probably due to my crappy hardware. But I usually "solve" the issue by reducing graphic quality, at least this helps quite abit. It doesn't really make sense for specific account to lag that heavily as compared to other accounts. Because in the source, nowhere is it coded that "Oh if this player is this level, wearing this, has this item, lag him!!!". Maybe try to not open any browsers and see how it works! (-cough-, Firefox Quantum is good I heard)
doesn't make any sense to me as well, i usually do troubleshooting alone but i was completely unsure what to do with it xD lag actually got really better since i removed my baba blue rings.. though still, let's say i send a whisper on my main acc + on my alt at the same time, the one i send on my alt will arrive first. no idea why.
sadly, still happening. tried just standing in boat quay town, 0 traffic there. if i drop an item for example, i'll see the item dropped on my 2nd client, before i see it drop on the client i have my F\P in. and every 10~15~20 minutes, i DC to login screen (doesn't matter if i do something or not, can take anywhere from 10 min to 2 hours till i dc)
@Kai idk if you'd be able to assist me, after a bit of further testing, channel/map doesn't matter. Had 2 of my chars at the same map. One dcs more often, while the other barely dcs, and usually doesn't DC. Any advice/questions you have, I'll appreciate it.
what may be happening is the fact that the information coming from Royals client is having an issue with your operating system configuration. I recall this happening to me a few years ago, ultimately the fix that i had found was move OS from Win 7 -> Win8.1. But no one wants to be on 8.1 : ^) good luck with this
I kinda doubt it, since it only happens on one specific account, not a random client Regardless, using win 10 64bit
99% sure it's char related. happens mostly on my F\P. Random DCs (screen moves to the top left side then DC to login screen) or simple delays (i can have 2 clients open at the same time, i see a smega on client 1, and only after 2~5 seconds see it on my F\P client)
It might have something to do with the source code for FP causing issues with cpu rendering. in that case i would wait it out until FP get revamped or get a developer to look into it :x
