I find it unfair, because pig drops are on the ground for a long period of time, and instead of banning for these small incidents should send a warning, should focus on real problems that afflict the entire community
Doesn't matter, we take all cases (small to major) seriously. Then do you think it was fair to him that you looted his pig drops? What if he didn't loot it because he was bringing his mule? What if he was waiting for his buddies/guildmates to come and take them? Ultimately, did you ask for permission before looting? No. Period.
