Hello guys, my active char right now its a shadower, but im kinda slow with them atm, and i have seen alot of shadowers on zak runs or HT runs doing boomerang and dropping mesos at same time and alot more. So im asking if someone knows all the tricks of a good and fast shadower can do a guide for it or send me a message with the tricks, i really want to be fast with him, and the guide of shadower doesnt explain that. Practice. I went from unusably slow meso dropping to tolerably fast meso dropping in about four hours of grinding (with the benefit of a few cups of coffee). ETA: I use mousekey 5/ctrl + v/enter.
hi shadowers are all about tactics, and you can easily be the spotlight of a boss run if you know how to do your tricks. I'm sure you already know how to drop mesos fast, and I recommend clicking over mousekeys. by clicking you're somewhat more aware of what's going on on your screen, and having one hand on the keyboard, and the other on the mouse comes in handy in any dangerous situation (at least I feel comfortable that way instead of both on the keyboard). in order to attack and drop at the same time, you must create a skill macro with the skills of your choice (i.e: boomerang step + savage blow // boomerang step + dark sight + assassinate). then you put the respective macro setup on the V key. that way, your macro will activate whenever you press (CTRL + V) when pasting the amount of mesos, when dropping. then you drag your mesos dropping window right on the inventory's meso coin as you may already know. now all you have to do is keep holding (CTRL + V) with the desired amount of mesos (i.e.: 0000006000), clic as fast as possible the spot which is the "OK" and meso coin button simultaneously, and voilà! you can now attack and drop at the same time! —————•—————•—————•—————•—————•—————•—————•—————•————— some free advice: • mesos have a 5 minutes expiration time, so don't forget to boom them before they fade away. • you cannot attack while in dark sight (therefore you'll only drop when doing this method however). • I personally make good use of the above so I calculate my dropping time before bombing too. • it can become difficult to move or react completely to the screen with all windows open, so ESC is your best friend when in danger. • don't push it too hard with your bombing. if you get tired, or your fingers hurt, stick back with normal attacking skills. don't risk your life/run for trying too hard to bomb. • you can also place chakra in the V key for extra safeness when dropping, instead of the risks of attacking. • assaulter is your greatest escaping method if you need to run away or just reach a distant place/move back. • a regular zakum run with a party may (IF dropping) may cost you around 20m~30m mesos. • a krexel run (duo/trio) (IF dropping) may cost you around 60m~100m mesos. • a well-targeted bigfoot may cost you 9m~11m mesos. • a headless horseman may cost you 500k~1m. • you can take advantage of zakum's weapon cancel by charging dark sight and dropping mesos, so when it comes back to it's normal state you can hit it with a strong assassinate and then burst some more bombs. • grinding is a LOT of fun. making good use of your skills will result in awesome combos, and you'll barely getting hit. • and the most important tip... if you plan to bomb something, ALWAYS carry at least the double your planned money in hand. shadower is HELLA fun, but it's also HELLA expensive. so you better acknowledge that before getting too involved with it!
Has anyone else noticed the knock back bombing? When you get knocked back when dropping but keep dropping, then move back to you first drop spot and finish off dropping. Your mesos don't explode for a while, I've been able to kill Krex with as little as 10 mil. Dropping 10k sacks and doing around 500k damage a second for 3-4 mins or so with 2-3 mil.
as far as I know that's just a visual bug. meaning you can see damage lines coming from them while not exploding, but you're actually not doing any damage... so no clue on how you've killed krex with less than 50m...
I can show you if you want. It's happened to me enough that I'm pretty sure I can replicate it. Would like some clarification from GMs if it's legal though. Don't wanna get banned after all the work I've put in.
