Last thing you did: I don't remember, it has been well over a year Why do you think you got banned?: Complicated story. I had quit Mapleroyals and played a different private server. I had given away the information of my account info on that server, which was the same as the one in Royals. I was hacked in that other server, and consequently my hacker tried to log into Royals with that same info. As a result the account was automatically banned. Sometime, a year or month ago, my account was trying to be appealed, but without my consent as it was not me who tried to appeal the ban, but probably the hacker. I created a new forum account and was able to verify that this account was mine and wanted to keep it banned. I also told the GM that I was willing to share my account info, which I knew was a bannable offense, so I would stay banned. I am ready to return to Mapleroyals, so I would like to be unbanned, with new account information (forum too) if possible (and no I won't be sharing my account info?) Ban message when attempting to log in: I haven't attempted to logged in, so I don't know.
No I never account shared, the information to my account was the same as another account on a separate server, which enabled it to be susceptible to hacking. After I verified that the account was mine, I said I WOULD account share so that there is reason to stay banned, but I never actually did it, kind of like self-request to be banned?. So I would NOT account share now because I would like to return.
So giving away your info on a separate server leading to getting inadvertently hacked is a form of account sharing?
you should re-read our inbox conversation from february 2017. You claimed to share your account information on another server but in addition to that also were fine if your friend Sarah logged in on your account here on royals. This indicates that you've been sharing your information (willingly) with multiple people thus you will remain banned for account sharing.
to our knowledge you've been sharing account information with multiple people which results in a permanent ban according to the major infractions appendices 10.8 of our T & C
so the first was unintentional leading to me trying to get hacked? and the second was to someone who didnt play so i had a valid reason to stay banned? = permaban rEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
to clarify i have never intentionally shared my information i said i WOULD willingly share my information in the past to stay banned, not anymore of course the only person who has attempted to log onto my account was my hacker and no one else
regardless of how you're trying to phrase it we've decided to keep you banned for account sharing with multiple people.
Do you have definitive proof, records, or evidence that multiple people have tried to log onto my account?
nope i just have your believable claim towards account sharing and someone trying to claim ownership of your account by account recovery attempts
The claim that I would be willing to account share is not the same as actually account sharing. If I said I would be willing to kill someone or be willing to rob a bank doesn't mean I can be convicted for killing someone or robbing a bank. Even if I did say I robbed a bank or killed someone doesn't mean that I even did that crime without evidence. Because there has been no evidence of people trying to log into my account, there is no evidence of me actually sharing my account information, only a claim that I would share my information last year in the context of trying to claim ownership and stay banned. Is it a bannable offense if I said "I think this game sucks so I'll download hacks" or is it a bannable offense to actually download and use hacks? What if I stated that I did use hacks but there is no evidence whatsoever of me using hacks? Phrasing matters, the claim of willing to do something or or the claim of actually doing that something is not the same as the actual crime.
yes, making a believable claim towards account sharing (and having that backed up by the events that happened surrounding your account and your messages) is indeed punished by the terms and conditions of mapleroyals: your ban appeal has been denied
