I can log onto royals for about 5 minutes give or take until it boots me and gives me this error. I wasn't able to start the game awhile ago for the unspecified error fix, but using the non-windowed mode allows me to play but only for a short time. I uninstalled and reinstalled royals, turned off my firewall, messed with my compatibility settings and I still can't seem to log on for longer than 5 minutes. I have a Intel i7-2600 processor and a nVidia GeForce GTX 1060 6gb. I haven't been able to play in few months and I keep trying every now and then and checking forums for new solutions but nothing has helped.
I checked some information but still no good solution. This problem is caused by a memory error when maplestory is running in Win7. A long time ago this problem appeared in the official Maplestory. You can try the following actions to solve: Run in compatibility mode: Windows 7; Unchecked reduced color mode; 640 x 480 resolution; Unchecked disable display on high DPI settings; Run as an administrator; Set Virutal memory to 2048MB. If still not resolved, it is recommended that you upgrade to win10.
So I found out that if I change my resolution to 800x600 and play only windowed mode, it doesn't crash on me.... Idk why this is and it's annoying that I can't play full screen mode but it's been working so far. Also, I also do play on my laptop which is a win10 and it's been having errors connecting as well.
So I've started bossing and I d/c when I'm in windowed mode but I don't d/c when I'm in full screen but after a little while I d/c in full screen... Any help/ suggestions?
