A proper discussion regarding admin's inattention to community and staff input.

The minority opinion that I usually am, but I can't help but feel bad... Now having created the "telecast delay" thread, I'm insecure about how I may have worded it to seem expectant or demanding.
Perhaps I might feel different if I have ever donated, but as of right now I don't feel like I am owed anything. I didn't pay a cent to play this private server; it was available to me because those who ran / run it shared the same nostalgia for an earlier version of a game. Anything added, fixed, or updated to me is just a bonus. I feel bad when something positive in an update gets almost instantly overshadowed by all that was done wrong or not done good enough.
I may have been a bit whiny instead of being a fair critic sometimes, and I am starting to regret those times.

 

Please be sure that your posts are actually saying something relevant to the thread. Any posts that are irrelevant will be reported and hopefully deleted.

 

Only ungrateful person here is Matt, for the love and dedication staff and players gave him.
Maybe you forgot Matt, but players are the one that make ur server alive and donate their money for you. Treat them with more respect if you want to be treated equally.

 

It's not under my impression that you sounded that demanding or expectant. It appears that you just wished to convey that side effects of the most current patch and how it effected the enjoyment of the game. Remember that the GM's did not intend the delay to cause the game play to become clunky or slow, so it's not like you we're disagreeing or complaining about something they caused intentionally. Although, I cannot say the same for all of the replies from the thread; but things like that will happen when there is something to complain about. So don't feel too bad Kleric, we just need to communicate politely and reasonable so that issues are put to light.

Anyways, casual reminder that the whole point of this thread is to clarify the overarching lack of transparency, honesty, and respect by the Administrators when it comes to discussing server issues and concerns within their own Staff, as well as with the general community. Examples are provided specifically to emphasize this broader point as a whole, not to make petty personal digs or to bitch about random individual changes that no one likes.
