Closed Client Crashes Constantly

    Problem: Within a minute of getting into game, the client freezes and gives a “MapleRoyals has stopped working” message. I am forced to close the game
    I have 3 characters, but this seems to be the only character that has this issue.

    I have deleted Royals and re-installed the new files two times now. My gameplay was fine yesterday. This issue began with the new patch update.

    I appreciate any assistance! :)

    I think your files are outdated cause mine have the date of 23rd on it

    That's strange, because I got my setup from when they uploaded it the second time (I am aware they had included an outdated .exe in the first setup). Unless they took it down and uploaded a third time?

    I have been thinking the same cause many people said that too. Can you check the date of the .exe and see if it says 21 or 23 pls?

    Have you tried running it in compatibility mode?

    Right click desktop icon
    Click Properties
    Click Compatibility
    Click Change settings for all users
    Click Run program in compatibility mode
    Select Windows 98/Window Me
    Click Run program as administrator
    Click Apply
    Click Ok

    Worked for me, at least, when I was getting the same errors. Good luck!

    Yeah my exe is also feb 21, and im having the same issue. I suppose we have to redownload and update the exe file. That could be the problem

    I just redownloaded 20 minutes ago and I'm still getting the same issue. :(

    I just now ran in compatibility mode as recommended by TempleOwls, still not working.

    I have confirmed again that none of my characters on the same account have this problem, NOR does my Priest on my second account have this problem. It really is just the one character (SnipeEcho) that I can not play.

    Hmm i just updated myself, i can log on, but i dc in like 10sec. Im not sure whats going on
    I'm going to try with another account now but it keeps dcing me

    Yes, I had a Black scooter equipped.
    I realized this a few days ago after some experimenting with removing my NX equips
