IMO this is better than an actual update. This needed to happen and I’m glad this is finally reality and hope it stays consistent. Good job guys keep it up! This is very hard to pick but since people always complain about being stuck, not getting nx, how to delete characters etc. more than anything else that should be the the #1 most voted. Can’t see why a party quest would be needed more than a games basic features and general issues being fixed.

From a personal perspective, I would love CWKPQ or Dojo the most. But I do think that characters stuck in CS needs to be fixed soon as well!

 

I'm super excited for CPQ and CWKPQ. But, I think character deletion and account security are more essential.

I don't know which is the right answer. It's like asking a child if they want a new toy or a health insurance plan. Lol.

 

Guild PQ first makes the most sense since it gives a couple skillbooks that you can't get elsewhere, but it won't win so I voted for something else

I feel like CPQ should be a lower priority. Yes, it's really fun, but it's only early game content. It makes leveling in those early levels much easier, but honestly, as players progress, they skip the party quests entirely and just buy low level leech through those levels, especially if they're HP washing. As I understand, CPQ in old source has duping issues. I would advise against pushing out CPQ and would rather it take its time to thoroughly, thoroughly test how duping might occur with its implementation. I put CPQ last.

Character deletion is not a high priority to me. Sure, people have IGNs they can't use on other accounts but there's nothing actually BAD about not having character deletion. It costs real money, yes, but if the desperation to have an IGN on another character is so pressing, people can purchase 20 RP to switch IGNs. Character deletion is a convenience in my eyes, not a necessity at all. Channel population is trivial. Everyone can see how populated Royals is on the homepage. Seeing channel population bars for two seconds upon logging in doesn't add anything except aesthetics to me. Account security is also minor to me. PICs honestly are a hassle for players who take their account security seriously in the first place. Typing at minimum six numbers for every character you want to log in, with those numbers changing positions on the popup, just tedious. Randomize your password using a password generator, make it 12 characters, the maximum allowed, long, make a macro to copy that string to your clipboard and simply paste it on all your login windows. It's not that hard at all. I put this second to last.

Mu Lung Dojo is mediocre for me. It's really simple when I think about it to just make a BM, spam Hurricane on all the bosses because it charges the special attack meter ridiculously faster, and effectively solo the whole Dojo and leech your alts in the party for the points. It doesn't encourage real partying to me. And a 5 all stat belt is kinda just... meh. More stats, more optimizations to do. It's nice, sure, but it just makes another daily for players who are in the position to care about the stats given by a long term Dojo grind item. I put Mu Lung Dojo as third.

CWKPQ is a higher priority I feel, even though none of my characters benefit from its items. Other players are highly interested in how it gives new character progression. The influx of Taos allow Balanced Furies to be created, motivating the various tryhard endgame NL players, and the Mark of Naricains, however they are introduced, provide an alternative path to gearing characters that don't rely on tens, possibly hundreds of HT runs looking for a godly HTP or wasting billions on chaosing average egged HTPs. I see a great deal of money to be made in running CWKPQ, so this is also a potential route to funding characters for all players. Selling Taos and Mark of Naricain services helps reduce the almost requisite leeching dedication to get funded. Undoubtedly the most timely way to amass mass sums of meso will be leeching, but this reduces the dependency on creating a fourth job mage to get funded. At present, Zak income is low, Gen 20 at 800m, Zhelms at 50m, reloots at 20m, VIP Zhelms at 100m, and skillbooks at 20m. Players who play attackers in Zak also lose money with stoppers used on the run. Krex income is effectively negative, since hardly ever do you see an Almighty Ring being sold. HT income is decent, but still inferior to simply using the two hours to sell leech instead. So I see CWKPQ as a healthy addition to the game, although I'm undecided on how I feel about Naricain's Demon Elixirs. I see them as increasing the powercreep of the game, making bosses, particularly HT, killed significantly faster. But also as an income source if they are released and are tradeable. Hm. I put CWKPQ as second.

I voted for GPQ. There are GPQ skillbooks that effectively no longer exist in the market because the feature has been gone for so long. Ifrit 30, Assassinate 30, Taunt 30, and Ninja Storm 30 are all GPQ exclusive. The latter two don't really matter but the former two are important to how people play those characters. (Assuming on the Assassinate 30, since one poor soul has been buying the book for months now). Guilds didn't really GPQ heavily unless you were Oblivion or the guilds trying to dethrone them on the Honorable Rock, but even putting the exclusive skillbooks aside, it would be nice to have another minor form of PvP and give people something else to strive for aside from leveling, gearing, and getting FM 1. So I put this first.

Thank you for listening to us. Server improvement is my vote, more towards account security. I think this to be top priority so that we do not lose our hard earned things and invested time into our accounts.

 

Desperately need Guild PQ because of the exclusive Assassinate 30 skill book...

I would gladly pick login improvements/CWPQ over Guild PQ if Assassinate 30 was added temporarily to another boss or something as a temporary workaround (plz).

 

Even though Ifrit 30 and Assassinate 30 are locked behind gpq, I would love to have character deletion available before anything else. Even though an Ironman gpq would be hilarious.

Out of what's listed, toss-up between GPQ, CWKPQ, and general improvements. Probably in that order, but it's close. It'd be real nice to see things like an FM button, the return of certain player commands, and Pink Bean be on the radar though.

I think the poll is just of things that they've committed to implementing, so it doesn't include things such as PB, malaysia, Neo toyko, etc.

 

This isn't exactly a platform to bring things back (namely the FM button). Matt has posted before that it's not coming back, at least not in the capacity as it was and that's why the lounge was made. Nor, I should mention, is this the place to bring in new ideas (we're aware people want Pink Bean lol)

This is a small list of things on our radar to be done and the idea was proposed to offer transparency and allow the community to have a say in what will have more dedicated time and therefore finished/worked on/completed first.

Preciously. This isn't to say those things aren't being considered/won't happen, but if we included a poll of everything that could be done, we'd get no where quickly. The things in the list are more or less going to happen, just a matter of order, and by extension, time.

CPQ for Early levels, helps EVERYONE who starts a new character.

CWKPQ cause it's the best PQ in the game (obviously)

GPQ Brings guilds closer and a bit of competition between Guilds will arise again, making it a lot like old maple and Old Royals back in 2015/early 2016.

Mu Lung Dojo I'm not too sure about, most people are prob as skeptical as I am with that one but I'm one of 1,500 so isn't too important
