Like the title suggests... I'm new here... Started today and still wondering which job to go for.. I usually pick thief because I like the movement (Haste + FJ) or mage for HS.. I never play warrior or pirate. Any opinion or suggestions with an explanation would be nice
A mage wouldn't be too bad a start i think. Then you can just play the game and not worry about all the washing nonsense
Fire poison is the cheapest and does the best damage. They cost 90% less than bishops and way less than ice lightning as well.
How much meso are we talking for each class? Because I just started playing for I have less than 10k lol..
Fire poison take no funding and are the fastest lvling class after shadower. From lvl 80 and up you can go to petris. LVL 110 mob and the best exp in the game. Mist the map, don't need any damage gear until lvl 130 when you start using meteor. Can stick with a maple weapon until 130 when you get a elemental wand. Go LUK less, put all your points into int. Meteor 20 cost like 10 Mil or less and meteor 30 is 70 mil or so. Bishops main skill cost around a bil for both. Your lvl 130 wand is also the cheapest. At lvl 130 you can then start to sell ulu2 leech. And later petri leech once you start to get better gear. Even with bad gear you can 1 hit petris around lvl 160. At that point, you can make 150 Mil an hour selling leech there and still lvl very fast. Selling leech at ulu2 is good money as well. I made a bil in a week just leeching my own chars, npcing the drops. And if you get red craven thief drops, some of them sell for up to 900 mil
I'm not sure how Pettis was good at lvl 80 because I keep dying at lvl 90, using 60% mp recovery pot and 800-hp pot. My hope is 1500 and mp is 7200, my pet as auto HP and mp as well but I just die quickly if I'm not careful by a second..
My brother used the Ginger Ale in both auto hp and mp pouches while keeping the settings on around 80% for both. Ideally, your pet will use the pot everytime you get hit. This does burn a lot of potions, but the amount of equips that he NPCed made it break-even, so he didn't really lose or gain any mesos in the process. He started off at level 80, and having a zhelm if you don't have it would help. If you miss a lot, try to last hit the mobs with magic claw since you have two chances to land a hit. If you don't have a zhelm, buying one would help a lot. If you die a few times early on, it's still worth it with the amount of exp gained. It will be a lot easier to survive once you start leveling up. He had 8000 Ginger Ales since he farmed there for long hours, but you shouldn't lose or gain a lot of mesos so you should easily be able to repot all of it by NPCing the items.
Yea, you use ginger ales, it's expensive, but if you NPC the drops, you more than break even. Also, I don't use auto pet, they are unreliable and useless. I self pot because I die less that way. Also, yea, it would be expensive, but that's the trade off for getting EXP that quickly. And I get enough purple elixirs there to put both my NL and BM through zak and krex runs daily. They drop a lot of the purple pots, the 100% hp and mp ones.
I use to put them up in FM but no one ever bought them? I haven't grinded in 2 weeks now but I still have around 5k elixirs.
