[retired] New New Community Blacklist

Back to this post, I believe that there is no excuse for an old player to take those items, especially when he stated that it's for new players that need it.

This can be considered as a misunderstanding, and it would be unfair to blacklist ROXXY if this was the case. This wasn't the case though, since it doesn't seem like the item was returned after Meiyo explained that he wanted to give it to a new player. I don't believe that justifying it with things such as "it was a new character" or "an old player with a new character would have taken it" changes anything if the item wasn't returned.

Taking advantage of a player that is giving away items for new players isn't a good thing at all.
I would say that blacklisting ROXXY could possibly help players that are giving away items for new players avoid making the same mistake, just my opinion

 

imo if she caught up twice to doing blacklist-worthy stuff, you should put her on.
You let her go with the first offense as a warning because saying it was a mistake was an easy way out.
And she did bad stuff again.
She was impostering as a new player to get stuff, think that should be blacklist worthy

 

Just for clarification: As I mentioned before, ROXXY was reported a while back for bundle shop scam. She claimed it was an accident and as it was her first offense, I had removed her from the blacklist out of good faith (along with one other player who privately claimed to me the same thing). She posted in this thread about it a few pages back so the discussion is there if you want to dig around. Evan thought it was a formatting error when I redesigned the blacklist and has already brought it up to me.

Anyways, as with all things, let's settle this matter with a wonderful poll. Unless anyone has any other compelling evidence and/or arguments to offer.

As an additional disclaimer, Evan and I are also in the process of double checking with the old blacklist pre-redesign to make sure I didn't accidentally remove anything else important. Or rather, Evan is trying to help me figure out what the heck a BBCode is, along with how to stop being completely useless with technology in general.

As an additional additional disclaimer, for future reference don't you dare accuse me of being "toxic" and tell me to "grow up" ever again, especially for taking the time out of my busy ass schedule to manage your dumb ass drama on some petty ass bullshit called a "community blacklist" or I'll actually go full toxic on your stupid ass lmaoo

Over the past couple of days, the Guardians board has discussed @Sat 's situation and reached a decision following a vote.
Our decision is that the offense Sat has committed is not serious enough to warrant a blacklist from the Royals community and thus we will not kick him from the guild.
However, we’ve decided to remove him from the guild board as his behavior isn’t characteristic of what we expect from a Board member.

 

He/she was blacklisted though? The community decided it was serious enough.

 

I think it's their decision to keep a blacklisted player in the guild or kick him/her out. That person is a blacklisted player and a well-deserved one in that, in my opinion at least. The community, at least the ones who read and pay attention to this thread, will know it anyway and that's the whole purpose of this thread. No need to interfere with their decision making process within themselves and re-activate this drama

 

3 days after that happened, Sat told me that he had apologized to OtakuDn via a private message, and either hasn't cared enough to clear his name from the blacklist, let's all just move on from this like they have already. Blacklisted or not!

Updated! @AhLiGaddo just for clarification, he wasn't originally carried over to this blacklist because he was never added to the old blacklist despite being reported (and confirmed of his wrongdoing).

Also try to keep the spam here minimal please; it makes the important bits harder to scroll through. Only I'm allowed to shitpost here and farm forum likes. Looking at you @Don
