I bought an apartment right in the city center, it's fantastic! Needs a cosmetic overhaul which I'm in the process of doing right now. So far we've ripped the carpet and tile up and replaced it with hybrid floor boards. Still need to patch and paint the walls & trim, replace the lighting, and completely new kitchen cabinets / counter top (it's very dated looking). New floors: The floors were originally gross and old dark grey carpets. Paint colors: White trim & skirting, light grey walls, blue feature wall (we have a very similar blue for our window frames which we unfortunately cannot change, so we're trying to tie it in).
AT&T was going door to door in my apartment complex today, making excuses for the shit-tastic Internet. Anyhoo, I open the door, guy introduces himself. After a minute he goes "Something smells amazing. Is that you? You smell really good!" Achievement unlocked: smell good in 102° weather

Last first day of classes. Cheers to 20 years of being in school... lol Good luck to everyone else starting now (or soon, or already have).
Landed a Software Engineering job at one of my dream companies I almost ruined my education and career because I spent too much time on this game. I was a 1st year Masters student when I started playing Royals, and soon I was playing 5 hours everyday. My class grades dropped a lot. I knew I shouldn't keep playing this game, but I just didn't have enough will power to quit. Finally, the wake-up call came when I failed to find a summer internship. I forced myself to quit Maple entirely. I uninstalled the game, stopped voting, and stopped browsing the forum. After reading 6 books, practicing 800+ LeetCode problems, completing 2 personal projects, doing 50+ mock interviews and 10+ real interviews, I finally got the job. This is not necessarily a goodbye, since I may still play Royals casually in the future. But for now, I will mainly focus on getting more prepared for the job offer that I just accepted.
Managed to get accepted into the study abroad program recently my uni offers and plan on finishing up my last semester + graduating there come Spring 2019 in Wenzhou China! Spoiler: #blessedbutstressed Perks of having a uni that has a another campus located in a different country~ Now to maintain that 3.0 oof..
