Increase max arrows per slot

    After this thread, I decided to do myself a test.
    Wearing no equips other than a lv12 crossbow, put myself to kill snails at HHG1:

    This pictures shows my attack range with/without Soul Arrow, wearing Blue Arrows (Attack +4)
    We don't see any difference on the range, so it is true that Soul Arrow does not change it.

    But the issue comes with the damage:

    The first picture shows my damage with Soul Arrow (1058 no-crit)
    Curious fact is that Strafe is 100% damage with 90% Mastery and 1168 max range, I couldn't go higher than 1058 tho.

    The second picture shows my damage without Soul Arrow (1166 no-crit)
    I almost got to the highest supposed damage that my Range shows.

    And then I did the same with common Arrows:
    Max range is 1059 now...

    Could get to screenshot 1053, although I could see a 1056 once, without Soul Arrow.

    Reached 1057 even with Soul Arrow.

    Arrows change the Range, but Soul Arrow makes the damage do not count it.

    I wonder if it is an issue with Soul Arrow, or with the range being changed by the arrows.
    I honestly never thought about that before, even back then when playing gms.

    And it does a big difference, if you think about that test I made, from 1166 to 1058 damage, it's a rough 10% difference.

    I remember this being discussed on BasilMarket literally like 15 years ago, talk about a throwback lmao :p

    But as far as I know this was a widely known issue with Soul Arrow and therefore presumably an intended feature.

    Well, originally it was intended that Soul Arrow does not take in count the Attack from arrows, true.
    But why does it not change the attack range then?

    Would it be too OP if they made it so Soul Arrow do count the Attack from arrows?
    They could even make it to work like Shadow Star, so we would have to carry arrows for the exchange anyway.

    This right here is a reason why BM and MM need their damage buffed...

    I highly support this change.
    The trip to Showa and the whole buying process is a very tedious action that, over time, a lot of Bowmasters & Marksmen give up on.
    Reducing the number of times you have to do it would greatly help prevent a burnout of this whole thing.

    Why not just make Albert sell the blue and red arrows respectivly? :rolleyes:

    Keep in mind you tested with absolutely no gear and a weak weapon. The 4 attack difference does not scale to 10% to a regular equipped BM or MM.

    That said I'll explore what's possible for us to do and see if we can either get soul arrow to look at the extra atk or buff our stacks to 2000 iron/ diamond arrows like it is with regular arrows!

    Getting Soul Arrow to look at the atk would be awesome.
    But in case you skip that and work on stacks only, make it 9999 :)

    Hurricane only doing 100% at rank 30 never made sense to me. 110% or higher would be a good start.
