I have not thought much about Avoidability actually. I've mostly played Warrior and our avoidability is like non-existent anyway. My initial guess is, the formula would be the same as the one for Accuracy, but from the Monster's point of view instead. However, Maplestory is such a weird game in many ways and who knows if the creators made a completely different formula for this? I could quite easily test my theory though, and then I will get back to you!

I've never seen that formula anywhere. I think it has to do with the mob level compared to yours, their accuracy and your avoid. It's not the same like the accuracy formula cause mobs like snails can still hit you sometimes while a low lvl character would miss 100% of the times against something like horntail.

Right, it's not the same with Accuracy Formula. While testing it I realized my theory falls short instantly.

I read that one too. It should be quite easy to test in-game. I belive it could be true but it still doesn't tell the chance of a monster missing me. Can only tell me how much Avoidability I need to be missed 5% 95% of times

i did some testing with the formula: Accuracy of monster + Level of monster + 55 =

the number I get, I think, is the avoid number you need in order to be missed ~95% of the time.

ill try and report back with testing it more

with what ive found out so far the misses are just random not pseudo random. sometimes ill get 20+ misses in a row on me and sometimes ill get hit after 2-4 misses quite frequently.
