Hi, I've a question. I'm currently level 62, have 6577 HP and 404 MP. I want to achieve 30.000 HP at level ~200. I have 5 base INT + 85 from items (90 total), so I get ~9 mana per level, which is a little bit above 2 washes per level. I need 138 levels to get 200. 138 x 52 (basic HP income per level) = 7176 HP from leveling 138 x 9 (mana per level, I'm not sure now whether there's basic income beside INT) = 1242 mana / 4 (mana per wash) = 310 x 52 = 16120 HP from washing 6577 + 7176 + 16120 = 29873 HP. So I'd need 10 more INT to gain 1 more mana per level (I'd probably just have to add basic one, can't get more INT from gear now) to have 30k at 200, am I right, or did I messed up something? I used calculators, but want to just make sure
Rounding Basically, you need 1230 MP (/4 = 307 washes) + base MP by 200 which should be 856 (4x level +56). Assuming you'll have around 14k naturally by 200 (which you should). I look at it this way. You need to gain around 9-10 MP per level, but this needs to be on top of your base MP you need. Add the extra 10 INT, and make a chart with your base MP at each level (simple addition each level, it goes up by 4), and subtract that number from your current MP, and see how much extra MP you gain each level. for example. 404 (current MP) - 304 (base MP at 62) = 100 bonus If you level and get to 416-418 MP, you're on track, a little more will make it safer. If you're getting less, you'll be behind a bit. Either way, you already have 25 washes in the pocket
I forgot about minimum mana in my calculations Btw. I think that minimum mana at lvl 62 is 404, simply because I cannot take anything from it anymore now, can't go under that. I think that in this case I'd need more than 10 additional INT, I'd probably need around 120-130 total INT, from 90 I've now. I'd have to sacrifice a lot for DMG and cash to achieve that (~40 STR, having to put 40 INT to 40 STR later). I'll think about it
It won't let you remove MP or HP unless you put 1 AP into it. The min MP for heroes and pallys should be 4xlvl + 56
I'm using AP from level up, is this wrong? I heard that there's method to put just from MP to HP instead of "fresh" APs, but idk which one should I use :/ I do - Level UP - Put into HP - Take from MP to STR
For warriors, it doesn't matter whether you use fresh AP or not. The outcome will yield the same results. edit: The information I gave above is slightly inaccurate. Please refer to Shiyui's post further below.
I meant, to be able to -MP and + HP with a reset, to reset all your extra MP into HP, you have to stick one AP into MP or HP first.
I thought that was only for drk? All the guides I could find said hero and pally used the same formulas only difference is hero's got HP at job advancements and pallies got MP. I have no way to confirm this though as I've never washed low enough, but I've used 56 in all of my calcs since day one haha
I've personally (very casually!) washed my Paladin until what should be the minimum MP threshold, and I can confirm Eli is right (currently level 171: assuming the formula is 4xlevel+156, my minimum MP should be 840, and can't do any more washes!). Spoiler I can confirm there are guides that state otherwise, but apparently they are wrong. Shiyui's calculator should take in input the correct formula, though.
In that case OP, scratch what i said about having 25 free washes. haha. I'd just add some extra INT to be safe then.
Decided to come out of retirement and answer these kinds of threads after Jake's post hehe. Okay, first of all, I can tell that you're using the wrong formulas for paladin. It's a common mistake; most people are uninformed that paladin's formulas are the same as dark knight's formulas, NOT hero's. As Eli and Samadhi stated, the correct minimum MP formula for paladins is: 4 * Level +156 But I also noticed that you're using the wrong natural HP formula. The correct natural HP formula for paladins is: ((Job-2) * 325 + Level * 66) - 399 This means when you do third and fourth job advancements, you get 325 HP. And for each level up, you get 66 HP. (138*66)+325+325=9758 HP gained leveling to 200. 6577+9758=16,335 HP total at level 200. Since you HP goal is 30,000 HP at level 200, the amount of HP you need to wash is: 30000-16335=13665 There actually is a slight difference between level up AP and AP Reset AP when HP washing warriors. Level up AP (putting fresh AP into HP after leveling up): 50-54 HP gained AP Reset AP (using AP Resets to -MP +HP over and over and over): 50-55 HP gained So it's actually better to put a single AP in HP and put the rest of your AP in str or dex. And you'll recycle that single AP between HP and MP. You just use AP Resets to -MP +HP infinitely until you get the HP you want or you run out of washable MP. And when you're done, just use the AP Reset to -MP +str or dex so your AP is where is belongs after all the HP washing is over. We'll say that average HP gain per HP wash is 52 HP. 13665/52=263 (rounded up) So we need to do 263 HP washes. Each HP wash costs us 4 MP. 263*4=1052 We need 1052 washable MP to get to 30,000 HP at level 200. The natural MP formula for paladin (what you call basic income besides int) is: 5 * Level + 179 So you gain 5 MP naturally by leveling up without account for any int. Since you have 90 total int when you level up, each time you level up you get 5+9=14 MP. 138*14=1932 MP gained leveling to 200. 404+1932=2336 MP total at level 200. The minimum MP you have at level 200 is: 4 * 200 +156 = 956 So the washable MP you have at level 200 is: 2336-956=1380 We need 1052 washable MP. 2336-1052=1284 MP remaining after HP washing to 30,000 HP at level 200. You can do the math by hand like I did above, but my calculator does it all perfectly and it's probably a lot easier to use haha! I ran your stats and you can see it all checks out. So with AP Resets at 17m each, you can see that you'll need a grand total of 264 AP Resets to get to your HP goal and it'll cost you 4.488b. Let me know if you have any questions!
@Shiyui Akira...What am I doing wrong? Why is it +20 HP only? First time doing -mp to +hp on warrior class. I washed all my other warrior just using fresh lvl up AP like a noob.
@Shiyui Okie, I've one more question When I tried to do method -MP +HP without doing anything with strength, it said that I'll get only +20 HP for -4 mana, while with "fresh AP" it says higher than that (I think 52). Would it still add 50-55, even if it says otherwise? // Haha, I started to write this post over 30 mins ago, and then just finished, because I was doing something else, and post above wasn't there when I started Literally the same problem I see
That is correct. When you HP wash the screen that pops up doesn't take into account Improved MaxHP Increase (+30 more hp if AP is applied), but it will still be 50-55 when you wash. It's basically a visual error. source: -MP +HP is how I washed.
