I'm not sure why this feature is needed, but removing it would still allow summon farming and multi client at bosses, but it would be make it much more difficult and parties may be more tempted to invite an actual person more often.
Yes, rendering the game unplayable for most classes after level ~60 is a very solid strategy for "tempting parties to invite an actual person more often."
I'm not gonna vote. I'd probably be more engaged in the game without it (and not from simply refraining from using it by my own will), buuuuuuut it was part of the original game, and too convenient of a tool that's been around for so long to just suddenly throw out the window.
Most classes can't live without auto potion after 60? I didn't expect most people to agree with removing a feature they find convenient. I'll just continue with my multiple boss mules and farm summoners.
Why is the game unplayable without auto potting? When I played GMS, I didn't use this and I doubt I was part of a minority. Also, a fun note worth adding: Out of all the people I see dying at Zakum, a clear majority of them are heavily washed players who die because auto pot glitches, they say.
Autopotting isn't necessary and the majority of who were casual players didn't use it. It's easy to self pot at any level, but server lags and delays make it a little more tricky and this is where double potting - both auto and manual - comes in. I believe the intention of this suggestion is to minimize the use of mules. There could be other ways to go about addressing this. I am in support of minimizing mules. The player base is large enough and teamwork is essential in an mmorpg. There was a video of an NL solo-ing HT posted recently and i get mixed feelings on that.
