IGN: ScopeWingZ Problem: I tried purchasing VIP TeleRocks 5 units twice (Total 10 units) and my NX was deducted but it is not in my inventory when I checked. Is this a bug? Details: As described under Problem
On a side note, I want to point out that it is usually a better idea to buy VIP Teleport rocks with mesos (from Albert) instead of NX. For the actual problem, did you notice anything strange when you bought the first stack of 5 rocks? They would normally pop up in that cash item transfer inventory (I don't know what it's called). In my experience, when problems occur with NX items, there's usually other problems as well (for me I had problems entering portals, changing channels etc). Did you experience any of this?
Hi Zerato, no other issues except I managed to purchase the VIP rocks and NX got deducted but then the quantity in my inventory remained the same. Tried logging off and on again as well but no dice. 10K NX down the drain....
I'm now facing a new issue! I'm unable to NPC items! Tried logging off and on and also various methods in game but it's not working. Different NPC chars, different tabs (eq, use, etc) and i get the same error below
NPCing stuff definitely. Unsure about the nx. I'd convert those mesos into billion coins to prevent future issues.
The data type that holds your number of mesos can hold a value of 2^31. This is simply a limitation the developers set to prevent the database of becoming too big. They probably didn't expect maplers to handle that much mesos anyway. Just put your mesos in storage. You probably wouldn't walk around with 2 billions in your pocket IRL anyway?
Oh ok. thanks!!!! One issue of not being able to NPC stuff fixed...now the VIP teletocks issue....sigh
Problem all fixed thanks to Zerato and Karlos. Problem was due to my ignorance. Mods/Admins, please consider all issues as resolved. Thanks to the wonderful community for pointing me in the right direction. *smiles sheepishly*
