hi all, im coming back from about a 1 year break to see whats going down. i logged in and got past character selection (like it tried to load into the map) only to get "unable to connect to game server, please try again later." my wife is getting the same error as i am when she tries to log into her account. any help on resolving this would be appreciated. i have: checked the faq, but i get no error codes so that doesnt really help uninstall, delete remaining files, reinstall all drivers up to date compatibility mode on/off, ran as admin. i am connected to the internet as i can play other games/do other things
Hmmm, you said you're coming back after a year break. Did you update your game files? A lot has changed in a year, including many updates to the game data. I didn't see that as listed in what you have tried.
i have downloaded both the setup files from the download page, and tried with/without the new client in the update 51 post, if those are outdated, where do i go to update now? i have not seen any links in #52 and #53 like in the (way) past (or individual files for updating anymore on the download page)
bump, after some research on the forums i beleive i am mac banned for an unknown reason? i get booted to the login screen after selecting my character, based on past threads with the same issue im having this was the most common result. im also not exactly computer savvy as far as my personal pc goes (as in what do i do in this situation?) on a side note should i make a new thread under ban appeal or should we keep trying to work out whats going on in this thread? edit: after some more trying, i have restarted my modem, and i have also deleted drivers that duplicated for whatever reason
