OK my husband and I have been playing Royals for a few years now. We play on different laptops but are having an identical issue. We both installed Royals right after the new source was released, and never uninstalled even though we quit playing for awhile. We decided to pick it back up, and downloaded the latest version of the game. I downloaded it by going to the downloads page. He downloaded it from an update link in one of the previous patch notes. I installed before he did. I just ran the installation, ran the game, logged in, selected my character and then am immediately kicked out of the game with the error "can't connect to game server". I tried on one of my other accounts as well and got the same error. I advised him to try uninstalling his game and restarting his PC before running the new installer. He did as he was told, logged in, selected his character, and same thing he gets kicked off immediately with the error "can't connect to game server". He was reading other players' posts and seems to think we might be MAC banned? But I've no idea why that would be. Help, please and thank you.
If you think you're banned, make an appeal and we'll look into it. But before that, try to reinstall the game as there have been many updates since the last time you guys played.
I have reinstalled the game. I can't uninstall though, I get an error saying it can only be uninstalled on 64 bit windows?
