When you've been ''at the top'' for a longer time, a fresh start can feel nice - I've done it quite a few times on Maple. But when you've just managed to scroll your first nice thing, finally starting to actually make money, finally starting to see the first sign of a progress.. you really don't want to get kicked back to start line! Which is why I probably would quit.

Yes but the reason most people want "Oldschool Maplestory" is because of the changes bigbang and post bigbang added with cubes complete class overhauls and added potentials on items. Im sure most people including myself are fine with newer classes only 5 is getting boring in my opinion. cygnus were nice after they made it so they could go past 120. i loved battlemage when it first came out (never liked mech or wildhunter) and DB was fun as shit. and none of these were OP when they came out.
Well alot of us already quit due to nothing much to do in Royal. CPQ not even fix. I started back 2015. 3 years later, still not fix. Its hard to tell my friend royal is fun when they asked me about it.
I'd keep playing. I thoroughly enjoy watching the big dick contests, and a server wipe would create Bigdickcontestpalooza as everyone frantically power grinds, power farms, power scrolls, and power-smega-trash-talks to outdo each other's collections of badly dressed pixels. Would be a while before I donate again, though.
