It could be a fun addition to have a dropped/created date added to items.

Maybe it could be an NX cash item, similar to the name tag that has to be applied to it first. For example, if I have an old item from 2014, I could purchase the date tag and see exactly when I got it.

I'm not sure if the client supports this or if it was available in GMS but I think the drop dates can already be tracked?

Why would you want this? I think none of the items currently on the server have such info linked to them. I might be wrong but I think that this will just slow down the server by adding a lot of bloat information to the database.

Indeed it'll incur unnecessary space to store all these information which are of no use to majority.

The client doesn't support this. The only date that can be applied to an item is an expiry date - which could have been modified for something like this if we wanted, but expiring items is likely more useful. This couldn't be done retroactively as we don't have dates as to when items are obtained. I am also not sure of what benefit something like this would have, and you have not explained much reasoning for the suggestion.

I guess to expand on Don's idea. Maybe we can implement hidden data (not displaying on the item, only GM/Staff can see it) on who scrolled the item.

In a few recent threads suggested that there are ways for RWTer to create high attack gear on demand to avoid attention. This hidden information may help GM/Staff to track down the source of those illegal items.

If youre talking about what I wrote, i guess it depends on the the coding. Either both you and your friend's ign will show up when the GM investigate the item, or the most recent person scrolled the item will show up. I wouldn't call it "author" since normal players shouldnt be able to see it anyway. It's not a nx item tag.

If the staff likes this and want to implement it, they will iron out the minor details like that. The goal of what I wrote is the track down RWTer's illegal item generation.
