Cannot choose a character

Whenever I try to log on, I would get to the character selection screen. Then I attempt to double click on character, then the game freezes. A message pops up and say "Unable to log on to the server." Help?

 

now i cant even get the program to open

 

I think there was an issue with the server this morning and it was just restarted minutes before this post. Try now.

 

I was able to log in few hours ago, but now it is happening again.

 

It's happening for me as well. I was able to login and play just fine up until about ~5 minutes ago.

 

Yeah same here, it has just happened. Must be the server, since all of us have the same problem
We'll just wait for a restart again
