Hey friends, just started playing yesterday and it's after ~10 years of not playing. Used to play GMS alot but it's really worth nothing so decided to start here. Now, what I am wondering about is that I made a Bowman, which I will be advancing it to a Hunter, no funding at all, totally clean, and was wondering how hard would it be for me if I put no STR at all right now. Will it be hard to get STR items later on? I know that for now I will be able to use Maple weapons only, I've read a Hunter guide here in the forums and really was wondering if it's the right way to go.. What do you guys suggest ?
The grind to LVL35 for the first Maple Bow will be a tad more tedious but you'll do better damage in the long run. Some of the early bowman armour pieces have STR requirements for some reason but none of them do after around LVL50!
I think you will be fine to go pure DEX. The early levels will go fast enough, and you can buy a Bathrobe to scroll for DEX to increase your range. Whitebottom Shoes for speed will help you train faster as well. And you can 100% scroll a lower level bow.
