While grinding a bit from lower leveled mobs, I found a good amount of scrolls, but I've heard from a friend that I should disregard any kind of defensive scrolls and only aim for either attack or character stats. Are there exceptions to this, and does scrolls with the same percent have different buffs?
DEF scrolls are garbage. HP scrolls are only useful for making dedicated HP gear for stuff like surviving Zakum early/not requiring HB. Otherwise garbage. Weapon for accuracy scrolls are not particularly useful, especially after LVL50 when you can obtain the Zakum Helmet. 10% and 30% give the same large bonus (30% scrolls have a 50% chance of destroying the item if the scroll fails) 60% and 70% give the same smaller bonus (70% scrolls have a 50% chance of destroying the item if the scroll fails) and there's 100%, they can't fail but the bonus is minimal. The other unique scrolls are similar to 60% scrolls but they have an 100% chance of passing. These are called event scrolls since they are only available during the Anniversary Event. Some are infact superior to 60% scrolls such as the event Wand scroll that gives +2 int and 2 magic attack whereas 60% gives +1 int 2 magic attack. The majority are identical though. Chaos Scrolls are available through Mushroom Shrine gachapon and only drop from Lyka. They have a 60% chance of randomly increasing or decreasing stats up to +5 or -5. White Scrolls are only available from NLC gachapon. They can be used with all other scrolls, they protect the slot from being removed if it fails. The White Scroll will be consumed even if it fails and does not protect against 30%/70% booming the item. There's also one 15% scroll I'm aware of but it's something really useless like Glove for accuracy lol At low levels, you can mainly just stick to 100% and 60% scrolls. 30% and 70% tend to only come from gachapon but you can check if monsters drop them here: https://royals.ms/library/ Making a very good weapon usually involves passing three 30% scrolls and finishing the rest with 60%/70%/event scrolls. A perfect weapon would be created by using white scrolls with 10% scrolls. Endgame weapons that are more easily available might be made with just 30%s and white scrolls (if any). You should be aiming for attack and damage stats only, yes! If you are playing a class such as warrior, it might be wise scrolling with DEX for the extra accuracy. Hope this answers some questions.
