Let me get this straight, you can go out when you have to do job advancement at 30\70\120? If yes then cleric shouldn't be allowed to play as a class because with holy symbol it's too easy
Yes you can get out of the cave under conditions listed under exceptions. I wouldn't call it easy at all. The only monster that can be damaged by heal is zombie mushroom inside the cave. The cleric has no reliable way to level except magic claw and holy arrow. There are only two monsters weak to holy in the cave: zombie mushroom, and Jr Balrog. Not even zombie mushmom is weak to holy for some reason. IMO cleric/priest is the hardest job to reach 3rd job.
I think gunslinger is harder. Mages are capable of doing decent damage without any gear due to the way their damage is calculated, and they are pretty strong in 2nd job. Sair however is pretty awful in 2nd-3rd job (double shot is really weak) and without any sort of attack gear and higher level bullets unavailable in the cave you'd be extremely weak.
It is true that mage may have the best damage early 2nd job compared to all others. So far I have 3 assassins and 2 warriors doing this challenge with me. No mage yet so stay tuned. All the jobs without attack gear are extremely weak compared to the dmg you're used to. I promise you gunslinger without attack gear are equal or on par with assassin in terms of leveling speed inside ant tunnel. gunslingers got more flexiable play style with multi target, movement skill, and stun.
Wouldn't heal be really useful in this kind of situation though? If you can't buy HP potions but need to farm them yourself then heal could help you a lot
What is attack potion has anything to do with hp or heal? If you mean HP potions, there is an NPC inside ant tunnel you can buy hp/mp potions, as well as stars, bullets, and arrows.
By Ant Tunell means you can't access Golems? Since it is a part of Sleepywood, would be a good add-on, as they also provide gfa. I'll be joining this phun

I think the eco system and the rules makes all 5 classes really balanaced unlike the world outside the cave Assassins, gunslinger, and bowman can go for cave bosses earlier since they have high accuracy Ice Lightning, warriors, and knuckler are good at mobbing. Mages and white knight can hunt drakes better than others because of the elemental adventages All weapons and scrolls are available inside the cave, and so far it's really balanced from what I can see, though different class hit the power spike at different stage/levels. At the moment I don't see one class that are superior than others. Play what truly makes you happy. No class peer pressure or HP wash pressure.
