No one's gonna care or be as excited as me or Litness, but WE DID IT!!! Some context: This spot we are at in Orbis Park has tantalized me for years, starting way back in GMS on my Gunslinger's quest to get to difficult and high places. When Hidden-Street.net's list of mini maps showed me that in Orbis Park, there was a platform way high up connected to a lower one right by the dermatology building, I HAD to get there. But I couldn't. Gunslinger skills alone weren't enough to get to the lower one no matter how perfect or maximized I was. I tried alternatives: Chief Bandit's Assaulter + flying enemies from monster sacks: Can't jump close enough for it to work with max Jump & Speed. Trying to fling myself with Wings by getting hit by mobs I summoned: The angle that I must jump at wouldn't ever allow me to get knocked back the right way. YEARS LATER! I was hangin' out with Litness, and showing her around all the fun spots Gunslingers could get to. After her achieving what I believed to be the most difficult (achievable) spot that was in El Nath, she asked me to show her the unreachable spot in Orbis I mentioned. I didn't think we were gonna get anywhere, but she was determined! It took a ridiculous idea I had earlier that I honestly wasn't even gonna bother with, and Litness' excellent determination and problem solving skills. Together (And I mean that besides solving the plan, it was a literal team effort), WITH THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP, she got up! And I could then follow up with a teleport rock. I can say with confidence, Litness is the first person who's ever been up there!... without hax... and isn't a GM... and before the class Mechanic came out in the Resistance update...! This is a lot of text, but understand I am super excited that this happened. History has been made in my eyes. Maybe someday we can conquer the unreachable spot in Omega Sector, too~
I'd love to showcase it through video; it's quite a bit convoluted. The trick involves teleport rocks, which Litness was very willing to waste on trying to get it to work. :O EDIT: Here's my attempt with words: Requirements: 2 People, both Gunslingers. (Both need Max Recoil Shot, and at least one needs Max Jump, and Max Wings), and some Teleport rocks. Role of Litness: Litness had to have 2 clients open; one of her Gunslinger, and one of another character. Her Gunslinger was to hide in the dermitology building with a teleport rock ready, while her other character stood outside so that she could see Rill and where he was at. Role of Rill: I was simply to get as close to the lower floaty platform as possible. Step 1. As the role of Rill, stand on the highest step of the dermitology building where the door is. 2. Fly off with Wings to the right, and once at the right height, use the Gunslinger skill Macro (Wings + Recoilshot) to jump back off of the highest step with that momentum. 3. As the role of Litness, once you see the role of Rill fly close enough to the platform, use the teleport rock on the role of Rill on your Gunslinger. 4. IMMDEDIATELY after teleporting to the role of Rill, during the black screen, attempt to Recoil Shot. If you did it right, you should land on the floaty platform, which has a quick-teleport to the even higher platform.
