Is it normal to get defamed for no reason?

I played this game for 3 days, 1st day was was only 2 hours and wasn't over 15.

On second day onwards, i got defamed everyday for no reason.
1st time was when i was afking at eos 101th floor
2nd time was on the rope climbing to another map from Orbis: The Road to Garden of 3 Colors, by HamsterB0y. <the o in boy is a zero)
I asked him why he said i looted his money. I did no such thing as i did not press z at all and my pet did not have the item which allow him to loot other player's drops. He did not say sorry or anything and simply ignored me after that. He was also with another player, probably a family member or friend as their IGN were similiar and that friend did not up back my fame for his mistakes.

 

People only get one fame/defame a day. Maybe people coincidentally like to defame you as to not waste it?

 

One of my friends (@Don) defamed his now ex-friend (@nany625) and got deleted off his buddy list monkas

 

Feelsbad.. all for a defame.

 

Some people are just weird you know...they hit you when you did nothing at all.

However defaming somebody for no reason is just stupid. If it's a "joke" then it is not a funny one. "I just defamed you ahahahahhahaha" fucking retard.

 

I've been defamed randomly more than once, I usually just chase them down and defame them back.

Fames are currency around here, so, if it makes you feel any better, he wasted mesos by defaming you.

People just love to hate lol. I remember i got defamed in Kerning like 3 times. Apparently someone told her to is what she said. She just outright did it, switched characters and kept going. I just blacklist these toxic people for future reference. Good thing i'm a quester and got my fame up a really good amount and more, so that day never mattered. Also, welcome to Royals.

 

I only have a character and I trade fame normally cause I needed fame to equip certain equipments

 

Thanks though for the thought. Was planning on quitting since this happen or creating a new character.

 

Just adopt the mentality that fame doesn't matter and you'll be a lot happier. At least, that's the approach I've taken and I'm yet to experience any issue related to it - I don't even pay attention to what number my fame is at or anything.

 

I don't think I've been defamed in the last year or so? Not sure
I stopped really caring about fame, if I cared I could just fame myself with my 8 or 9 mules anyway
