Words people don't understand in royals

What words do you use in real life that people don't comprehend on maple?

In my case an example would be the word 'banter' (Used relatively commonly in England and various other places?)

Banter isn't slang o.o

 

Anything army related I say on games or in a civillian environment.

 

When people talk to me as I quietly read a book @ Starbucks I politely but firmly tell them to pls cc gtfo

Also I feel like people pretends to know what I'm on about 30% of the times so I couldn't specify 1 word.

 

Yeh the word banter isn't slang sorry, but I meant words that you use that people don't understand due to geographical differences

Banter isn't slang, as people said, but it also isn't limited to UK regions in terms of general use. People use the word in the US often as well. "Having some friendly banter," is a good example.

I don't use a whole lot of slang I suppose, but whenever I say something like 'former' or 'latter' no one seems to know what the fuck I'm talking about.

 

The word 'peng' gets weird looks alot too.

Saying the opposite of what I'm being told.
"I like your hair"
"My hair likes you too"

 

Hwat rae oyu indog?
It means, what are you doing?

 

I use the word 'fave' a lot instead of favourite, and 'can you imag' (pronounced imadge) instead of imagine.

 

I've used fave a lot too. Also 'tc' for 'take care' seems to throw people for a loop. lol
