I have been thinking (yes it's true) for a while now and today I ran my thoughts through a friend and it sounded good to him so I thought why not make a post about this.

My idea is to have a NPC that sell White Scrolls, Chaos Scrolls (and AP Resets for NX).

    Some regulations:
    • Payment in NX.
    • Steep price, 10k+ NX for a WS.
    • Untradeable.
    • Minimum lvl cap to use NPC.

The idea behind this is to make it a little easier for people to scroll good equips that don't necessary have lots of mesos and also make people take chances more.

Also by making the items untradeable it won't be a means to make mesos but it will only be for personal use.

What do people think about this idea? ~f14 or ~f8?

Well, AP resets are already sold for NX. I will comment on the other suggestion (WS/Chaos) when I've thought about it, I'm not sure yet.

These items are already too easy to get, though chaos is just fine as it is.

No need to make this server easier, when it already isn't hard. Would just make the game end sooner.

Chaos and white scrolls were supposed to be rare in the version yet they are already so common and easy to get that this server has become more custom than gms-like. Chaos scrolls deflated to due to the gacha revamp so much that they're barely even worth selling anymore. If this version/server is still too hard for you guys then you may want to try other ones. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QdvLwfuJ60

I just made 90m + 4 Onyx Apples off of a Chaos Scroll about 5-6 hours ago. It's really that deflated?

90m + 4 apples is about 130m, about 2-3 weeks ago Chaos scrolls were 200m+ each, soooo yeah.

I don't want what is suggested. It's fine as it is now. You shouldn't be able to perfect your equips within days.

The thing is, due to high drop rates of equips and money there already is a huge inflation. They may seem expensive with their scary looking 9 digit numbers, but the fact is 500m pure mesos can be farmed just by grinding regularly for 6h straight. Add to that the NX, AP resets and gacha you get.

In relation to other servers which have/had similar rates, and prices, the prices are up because they are rare. Here they aren't, but they stay up due to inflation.

Back in the day, WS/Chaos were ultra rare and worth a ton, they're already way too easy to get. Games no fun if everyone gets perfect equips for nothing.

I agree, no reason to implement this NPC as the economy is deflating as others have already suggested. I also think some hackers who were duping items were also to blame, in part for this deflation of certain items.

I hear this crap all the time. "Everyone gets perfect equips"... I have not a single perfect equip, not even close, my equips are crap, and I have done A LOT of scrolling! You guys need to relax with these "perfect" equips statements. We do have Big Foot in game, but perfect equips?

It's not a myth. Chaos is of course a different case, but landing 7/7 10% has been already done so many times. With the aid of plenty of WS in most cases. Not necessarily absolute perfection, but close enough.

I started making the perfect equip claims when I joined, and still stand for them. It is because I want this server to be long lived, but it cannot offer such when we can, not necessarily everyone will, reach pretty much the best possible equips in such short times. And that is not only because the top achievers are left with nothing to do, it also demoralizes the players who want to go for the top.

After HT is down, the skill books are used and no equips to work on. What exactly is there in this game that would make us want to stay, when equips aren't the endless pit where you can throw your time in.

Define so many... I do not know of a single item that was purely 10%'d.

I'd be interested to know what the maximum number of 10%s is that anyone here has successfully landed on an item without the aid of white (or clean slate) scrolls. Personally, it's 4/7 - and no, nothing godly came out of it! I had about 30 helm def 10%s, and decided to mess around with scrolling white bandanas rather than just throw them away. This is the first time I've landed 4/7 10%s on one item here, but I've also done it on EMS with something equally throwaway and pointless.

You do know 30% does the same thing as 10%? Point wasn't landing 10%'s, but making a perfectly scrolled item. 10% is usually referred to just because it is pointless to separate the two.

I have one 7/7 item, pizza has at least one, anesthetize has at least one, kingpin has pretty much one, just a bit oomphed up, there was one sword sold recently in fm. And I'm betting there are more, since it was easy as hell to make.

Way2Patronise. I've used like 5 30%'s and 8 or so 10%'s on the first slot of items... All failed. Now I'm poor again.

It's relative. We are scrolling perfectly scrolled items here. Seeing so many in such a young low rated server is quite much. And the server has been growing a lot too, meaning more ws, more chaos, more potential great gear makers. The first few months were a joke.
